Starting Kazusa True (should really be renamed Haruki's Route to be honest because he carries this route).

Coda is finally out and it is glorious. Order of routes will first be Kazuza Normal, then Setsuna True, and then Kazusa True. New patch includes new CGs from the PS3 version, subtitles for background audio and video, and an entirely redone and improved translation of IC and CC. I am planning to redo IC and Setsuna CC after Coda is finished in case you are interested in the translation differences between the new one and the old translation. Enjoy.

Ah man, I lost it when Takeya started crying as well - dude is the chillest character in this story, guy will stand by Haruki no matter what dumb decision he makes and even he was reduced to tears because he could do nothing. Absolutely painful route.

Just wanna say, Haruki on this route was in a better condition. He had pay everything to what he have done from the past, so I guess Kazusa True Route was the best in my opinion

I finished WA2 a while ago. But fsr, spotify decided to recommends "Twinkle Snow" into my playlist. Listening it again gives me shivers. And now I'm back reading this route again. As much as I love Kazusa, sometime I wished the story would've just end by the end of closing chapter (no coda). I'll be just fine knowing Haruki and Koharu are happy together (my canon ending) :') Man, what a story.

In the end, they only care about Setsuna but never about Haruki feeling, especially Takeya who realize already about Haruki feeling for a long time ago. But i can agree about this, what route Haruki takes now only scum who thinking about his happiness alone gonna takes his route. He made one girl became the happiest woman in the world by made another woman most tragic woman in the world

They are so against kazusa even from the very beginning. Quite very disappointing friends haruki had, they wanted a perfect relationship for haruki without even taking account of what haruki really feels. But it's his fault anyway, he chose a safer route which is choosing Setsuna he didn't even confess what he felt for kazusa and just accept Setsuna's confession just like that.

@@Bella-id3nb true he should've confronted his feelings from the very beginning ideally. But he's pretty realistic and far from ideal, and runs away constantly. I honestly think Setsuna deserved someone better, but it's hard to hate him too much. Also his friends knew Haruki couldn't forget Kazusa, but they probably believed time would solve everything anyways.

@@Bella-id3nb IKR they simply kept telling Haruki Setsuna this, Setsuna that without any regard on Haruki’s real feelings, only telling on their judgement what’s more convenient for him. Io saying “You’re just going to abandon Setsuna simply because you love her?” Really pissed me off. What’s the point of a relationship when you’re significant other loves someone else’s more than anything in the world?

@@Yuki-os9wt He's a very talented liar. He's natural honest person and hardworker and no one gonna believe he's telling a lie when he lying. He use a lie to run away from the pressure to hurting one of them (Kazusa and Setsuna) and that became a habit when he confront one of them. Two of them know he's lying, but they also know he do this for not hurting one of them so they just accept his action. He seek one of them to punish him but the judge he's waiting is never come and the punishment he think he deserve never arrive. In the end, if Haruki never meet three of the girl in Closing Chapter, who he's open to and listen to his trouble (unlike certain 'Friend' who only parroting 'Setsuna') i have no doubt Haruki gonna lie again and walk to Kazusa Normal Route.

@@dytgyfgyffuh243 She basically wanted the ending that you get in the Setsuna True route. Which in my opinion is BS because it is too much like a fairy tale ending and real life tends to not be like a fairy tale. When I got to that ending I tried to be happy because everyone ended up happy but deep inside my heart it felt like I was just eating some kind of diabetes-inducing artificially flavored garbage, the ending just did not feel natural and made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. Not sure if others felt the same way or not though.

I think that actually happens in real life more and more nowadays. Maybe not so in Japan, but here in Canada I see that more often. Polyamory is becoming more and more common and it actually works great when done properly. If I was in that situation and I knew both of them like each other and I love them both, I’d totally propose that option. You see usually one person taking care of kids and two working. You truly get the best of both worlds. They key point is not to be too jealous.

People saying how nobody took Haruki’s feelings into consideration is making me scratch my head. Io and Tomo yeah sure ig, but Takeya literally takes Haruki’s side, and his problem is not that he chose Kazusa but rather the way Haruki went about things. He obviously took his feelings into consideration, he knew Haruki loved Kazusa. Takeya only wanted the best for Haruki, he sees Haruki literally destroying his entire life and his relationships so of course he doesn’t want that to happen. This was the most realistic thing he could’ve done tbh so I think it’s crazy when people call him a bad friend. Like tf you want him to do? And yeah it’s quite fucked up how they’re not friends anymore but isn’t that what makes this route so painful? Haruki knew all of this would happen yet he still chose Kazusa. He chose for this in the end. It’s impossible to have a “happy ending” if he chooses Kazusa. This route is just pure pain tbh. I’m not even done reading this route yet but yh. Also another thing I see people saying is that Setsuna should’ve seen this coming since she “stole” Haruki like what??? So yeah Setsuna obviously knew Kazusa and Haruki loved each other, but she loved Haruki too. She just took her chance before Kazusa. Ig you could criticise her for knowing Kazusa loved Haruki and she still did it but like be realistic tf did you want her to do?😭😭 Not do anything as she watches the person she loves get taken away from her??? Obviously she’s gonna make a move. Setsuna being unable to accept things, running away, being self destructive are much bigger criticisms I could give her tbh. Like she literally gets back with Haruki after what he did to her in Kazusa normal. Although love is irrational ig. Also I don’t think anyone is truly right or wrong in this situation. This is simply a culmination of all 3 of their mistakes. And I think the way this VN portrays that is masterful but also very painful… Anyways Setsuna best girl LMAOOO😭😭😭😭
