Houston is just a natural in front of a camera. What has really surprised me is that he has slowed down. I know from speaking in front of a crowd that the more nervous you are that your body language speeds up and your brain and speech follows suit. I think it is great that you get to experience things with your children.

One of my favorite memories is fishing with my Dad on the Allegheny river in Pennsylvania. I had caught 6-7 Bass. Theres an epic picture of lil 8 yr old me with all of them on a stringer.. MAN my Dad was so proud his lil girl had out fished all of the men!

The eagles like that area because of the food supply in the creek. Both parents were likely in the area. One staying closely and the other on the hunt. Amazing birds.

I get so tickled at Bella wanting every fish you catch! I am so surprised she isn't catching them herself !! Your family brings me so much joy. My son Josh who lives in Haslet, Texas is always fishing on his two days off. He does catch and release since he is by him self. I miss my son and daughter so much!!! Fun! My husband and father-in-law were always bringing home a variety of fish. We had so much in the summer that we had to freeze it. Fresh fried fish and hush puppies are just about as good as steak and eggs for breakfast. The guys have moved on to heaven and fishing in the streams etc up there. My mom and husband could get it perfectly crispy and yet not dried out or burnt. Those were the days. I envy you folks. Thanks for the video. Love and hugs from Wisconsin.

Eagle in the yard, how awesome that it's a family. I loved the eagles at our zoo. They were each damaged for life and one of each sex. The best thing ever was watching them mate, maintain their nest and getting closer to hatching babies. I have such great memories and stories. Catch, clean and cook C'mon

I love that you are passing on the art of trash talking. “You wanna hold my real so you know how it feels” lol. My son is now nearly 15 but a couple years ago I noticed he was takin back from the trash talkin. After I explained that it was basically an artform between buddies he totally gets it. Fishing is a skill, Houston. Watch your father and imitate what he does, exactly. What types of areas he casts into, how far he casts, how long he waits to start reeling in, the rate of speed he reels in, etc. Do that and you will start catching fish. 🐟 “He won’t stand still.“ “He don’t have feet.“ LOL! Houston is a very honest kid. He just couldn’t lie about catching that fish. Does Emmalee fish?

That was so nice to see the eagle, they say there is some around this area, usually wherever they can get fish and have big trees to build the nest in! Your fish look good, I love fish for dinner! Dan, I thought I would let you know I posted a older video of you on my Face Book page it is of 2016 Oct. one you were out running and you talked about the way the country was going.
