The White Bhut Jolokia or White Ghost Pepper if that's your thing, one of the many colours of the Awesome Bhut Jolokia, former record holder. Distinct flavour and burn, have been looking forward to actually getting a White one, grown from many different sources over the last 4 years but all have turned Orange, this is the 1st year that have white pods, the seeds were sent from Adam in Poland, details below..
the plants look spectacular, grow like a normal Bhut, solid plants that get to around a meter tall in the pot, in ground would get bigger, about meter and half tall. Fairly good producer for a bhut, pods are about 5 cm long and 2.5cm wide that start off a lightish green and then go to a creamy white, ripening White.
Dingo is up for the day so Today we have a crack at the White Bhut Jolokia
What's it Like ?
How Hot is It ?
Sweet bhut flavour minus the bitterness,, Beautiful and new favourite bhut, all the harshness in flavour is taken away so it's a fresh sweet taste Amazing and have to try to believe, the flavour stays for ages as doesn't get overpowered by the heat. We both Loved it
Heat is the normal bhut build but again not a harsh burn, under normal bhut heat, its actually a really nice burn for a superhot, not stingy or hurting but builds to a great level and then stays for ages, we both loved that as well
Overall Spectacular, grows really well, Looks Amazing with the White pods, tastes Amazing and the heat is Excellent so couldn't recommend anymore and 1 of those that have to have if can get.
Can get the seeds whilst available from www.thehippyseedcompany.com
