I remember this even tho I was tiny! Was quite rare to have a local BBC programme that wasn't Spotlight! I remember the music very clearly.

I was only about 8yrs old when this series was broadcast, but I remember it's simplicity and creepy atmosphere vividly to this day. Btw, I love how the opening credits read "Mrs. F. Wilkinson" with emphasis on the Mrs, lol It sort of adds to the old fashioned style of the story and presentation. Bravo Gran :)
