Hello, I dont suggest to use it under fondant but you can use it to cover the cakes and for piping flowers and other decorations. I always suggest to use ganache under fondant. Thanks 🙂

Hi!!! Please could you tell me...Do you mix in high or low speed after adding the butter and then the chocolate? And do you leave it to set aftwr adding the chocolate or do you keep stirring at it until it gets more solid?? I tried to make it but mine is completely runny ☹ Thank you!!!

Yes dear. The shortening helps buttercream to be more stable at heat.
