Theses make me think of Christmas. When I bake for weeks before, making cookies, fudge, brittle, pound cakes, tarts so I can fill up boxes with all my baked goods. To give to neighbors, friends and family . Yummy recipe

I made these last night, they are fantastic. Thank you for sharing your recipe. However, I noticed that they dont really hold their shape well when they are out of the fridge. I'm in Southeast Asia, it is pretty hot and humid where I'm from. What can we do to prevent them from softening and melting when out of the fridge? I had to cube them quickly and stick them all back into the fridge.

Firstly, that is for making these and glad you've enjoyed them! This fudge is a naturally soft fudge, so sadly wouldn't do well at all kept out of the fridge in a hot/humid climate such as yours. I find they can develop a little 'skin' when left out to air dry a little (keep cut pieces apart), but I would imagine they would still be quite squishy inside. I think you will have to keep in the fridge and enjoy as a colder treat instead of a room temp one!

@@MoversandBakers do you think it would burn if we heated the chocolate and condensed milk till soft ball stage? I'm wondering if this will help the fudge hold its shape better.

@@mq3018 this is not a cooked fudge recipe. Whilst I have not tried it, I don't think it would thicken if heated further than melting in the microwave.

Ours didn't sett what did we do wrong any tips?
@MoversandBakers4 жыл бұрын
This is a naturally soft fudge. It should hold it's shape fine, but can be squished between your fingers. If you wanted it to feel a little less tacky, you could leave the cut pieces out at room temp and they will dry out a little. Hope that helps! :)

Can fudge be sour? Or if we make fudge then does turn into sour taste???
@MoversandBakers4 жыл бұрын
Fudge is not normally meant to be sour, but are you looking for one that is a little more tart, like lemon fudge?

*"SOME" IS NOT A MEASUREMENT* 🤦
@MoversandBakers3 жыл бұрын
You’re right, it’s not. But I provide full (and precise) measurements in both grams and cups on my blog. This is a video to be used as a guide, not specific instructions. Hope that helps! 😊

Oh, thank you for the grams conversion. I love baking with my scale as it is more precise and less messy.
