@@FiezulLucky I was too! This new one makes me appreciate the sound design of the first one much more. This one unfortunately seems very rushed - especially with the localisation; the quality of the voice acting, subtitles not syncing up, general stiltedness of the script, typos in the documents etc. - but I think the thing that sticks out to me... is the footstep sound effects. They seem really loud, the character walking/running speed seems really slow for the frequency of the footsteps, I thought Soo-jin and Sung-tae were wearing sneakers but they make big clunky footsteps... That might be the biggest for me with this game not having the same atmosphere as the 2015 game. But then I see some people say the 2015 game just doesn't have the same atmosphere as the original... Maybe it's a first-love situation lol

I'm confused, I thought Sung-ah's death was accident, but in this they heavily imply someone intentionally locked the door and started the fire. Except we know it wasn't Soo-jin but they never resolve this. Also Sung-tae and Soo-jin's story just ends really weirdly. Weren't they both trying to find out the mystery behind Sung-ah's death, but they both just give up. Sung-tae just moves on, and Soo-jin is pretty unlikeable, but at least she's not a murderer I guess. I just don't see the point of linking them to Sung-ah when she's barely expanded upon. Seo-yeon also ends weirdly. She straight up murdered a girl to prove her ghost whispering theory, I don't think a simple sorry would suffice for that. She really should have died stopping the chairman's resurrection, and then her ghost and Eun-joo's could have reconciled afterwards and passed on. The idea that she simply gets to move on after killing someone just feels wrong. I think the last episode is pretty fine. Ji-min feels like a completely different character from the first game but I think the story works. It tries to resolve Na-young hanging thread from the prior game, and I like them explaining who that guy was the janitor attacks in the first game. But like most endings in the game, it just ends too abruptly. It doesn't feel like a proper conclusion, not to mention why couldn't Na-young have possessed Yuri to kill herself at any other part of the game?

This version has all three episodes in the game instead of having to purchase them seperately. It also has all DLC costumes as well, which unlocks based on what ending you get but I'm unsure if that part is just limited to people who had the old version.

You should be able to reset your chapter 1 choice if you get the family photograph in one of the stairwells of building 1 in chapter 2 (haven't tested this myself but was told about it) Then finish chapter 2 and do chapter 1 again and it should be fixed. He only opens the door if you haven't experienced the bad paths yet (Deception or Distrust ending from chapter 1 and the Karma ending from chapter 2 I think) If that didn't fix it a new save file works best. Costumes simply unlock depending on what ending you get.

@@hardmodefbl ​The family photo in the stairwell in chapter 2 should reset your chapter 1 choice - collect it, finish chapter 2 after getting it and then try chapter 1 again. Easiest way to explain the endings and triggers are to think of it like seperate timelines. TIMELINE 1 Deception (ch1) leads into Dissonance (ch2) - Sung-tae doesn't tell where Seo-yeon is, Sung-tae is tricked into almost leaving and then after finishing chapter 2 Soo-jin is chased and killed. Distrust (ch1) leads into Karma (ch2) - Sung-tae tells where Seo-yeon is and both him and Soo-jin are killed. In chapter 2 Seo-yeon is strangled to death. TIMELINE 2 Wrong Choice (ch1) leads into Blackout (ch2) - With this timeline, Sung-tae doesn't answer the door and when asked to reverse the plates by Seo-yeon, he doesn't. In chapter 2, it's essentially the same from Seo-yeon's view. Crucial Mistake (can happen instead of Wrong Choice) - While agreeing to Seo-yeon's advice to reverse the barriers, Sung-tae instead rushes to the auditorium. TIMELINE 3 Confession (ch1) leads into Endless Whispers (ch2) - Sung-tae does everything correct for Seo-yeon and confesses his love to Soo-jin. Seo-yeon manages to stop the chairman but leaves without fixing her past mistakes. Kkotnim Sweatheart (can happen instead of Endless Whispers) - After the Confession ending, Seo-yeon manages to uncover her past and say sorry.

This version is all messed up. In my first gameplay, Eun-joo didn't appear and I went straight to the trio "Wrong Choice", "Crucial Mistake" and "Confession". After getting the "Wrong Choice" ending and starting a new game in chapter 2, the game keeps putting me in the "Karma" ending. I'm in this loop and I'm not getting Seo-yeon's new path. Is there anything specific to do to get this ending? I already managed to get, after much effort, "Distrust", "Karma" and "Wrong Choice", but when starting the new game, in episode 2, I only got "Karma". I do not know what else to do. After you got Karma from finishing episode 2 you should be able to play episode 1 again to get the new cutscenes. It should be triggering when you play episode 1 after having bad endings for episode 1 and 2 finished. If you need to reset Eun-joo appearing at the broadcast club you can play episode 2 and collect the family photo in one of the stairwells of building 1, then finish episode 2 and play episode 1 again and it should be fixed when you get there. The game is super buggy and a kinda insulting follow up of Sonnori's amazing remake.

@@ungodly Thanks, friend, for the tip. I ended up getting it earlier. The trick in this new version, which is not tied to the finished ending, is to trigger certain scenes or pick up certain objects. For example, in episode 1, after entering building 1, if you go straight to the hall, talk to Soo-jin, you will get the endings "Deception" and "Distrust". If you trigger Na-young's scene before, it will land on the alternative side, with Seo-yeon's question. I managed to catch the "Blackout" ending, finally, because I discovered that to fall into the alternative side of this episode, it is necessary, after the scene where you run away from the purple ghost (is it Eun-joo?), you have to catch the photo which Seo-yeon shows at the beginning. This photo is behind the second floor stairs-door and must be picked up immediately after running away from the ghost.

This game's plot and structure is so weird. I have no choice but to point out inconsistencies with both games. The promise of Sung-ah's story being explored more, who was my favorite character in the first game, seemed strange when Jung-tae and Soo-jin dont even find out who her killer was. Jung-tae doesn't even know he spoke with the killer. Soo-jin doesnt find proof of her own innocence and the best resolution for her is that MAYBE Seo Yuri had some involvement, which she didn't in Sung-ah's case. Its possible for Seo-Yeon to make peace with Eun-joo but not Sung-ah because I guess Sung-ah's spirit has already been released. So i suppose she is able to have some form of humanity without her father's guidance but she still gets away with two murders. And now Yoo Ji-min's appearance. It's cool for her to have returned but her personality is very different compared to the first game. You'd have to assume some form of the White Chrysanthemum and Marguerite endings of the first game are canon because she needs to know the resolutions of Kim Ji-won (who for some reason is referred to as a woman in English text in this game???), Choi Eun-mi, and Sung-ah. But if Ji-min's campaign is canon, Main Building 2 should have burned down which it's not in this game. It is cool that they do explain who the hell that guy who got attacked by the janitor was, but his existence was hardly fleshed out. Just a crush of Na-Young who wanted to make things right I suppose but there was barely time to flesh that out. How does Ji-min even know about the Holy Tree, she doesn't get knowledge about it, let alone the background of the sacrifices. I guess you could explain the reason for the school being haunted in White Day 2 is that in White Day 1, Sung-ah's spirit feeds off of the negative feng shui whereas the original source of the imbalance comes from the Holy Tree. With that in mind, why does Na-Young have just enough power to posess Seo Yuri into killing herself? Ji-Hyeon, while nice to see again, her presence is barely justified in this title. Whatever happened to Hui-min Lee? The police believe a transferred student caused the fire, but is Hui-min arrested for it? For four of the original characters return in some fashion, only Ji-min and Na-Young and has some form of justification for reappearing. Seo Yuri barely gets enough screen time as a villain in the Na-Young plot. While we're at it, while i can understand Na-Young targeting Seo Yuri, why not Seo-hyun, her best friend's real murderer as well? So to summarize what is intended to be the most optimistic outcome of the story, Jang Sung-tae and Jung Soo-jin DON'T figure out Sung-ah's true killer, Seo-hyun apologizes to Eun-joo but can't apologize to Sung-ah, and Yoo Ji-min's story ends with no resolution as to what happens to Ji-hyun and witnessing Na-young eliminate one final loose end. This could have worked way better and i really wanted it to. I love White Day and it left me wanting more, but ffs this sequel has too many loose threads and it makes you confused as to why they decided to go back retcon Na-Young and Sung-ah's story and fail to deliver a proper sendoff.

This sequel was pretty disappointing. I dont understand how Seo-hyun murdered an innocent girl because she was hearing whispering ghosts and was involved in the murder of Sung-ah but apparently she faced no consequences and was easily forgiven. Jung sung tae and soo jin's story felt kinda pointless becuase they didnt figure out who killed sung ah but ended up moving on and returning to their normal lives as nothing happened Yoo jimin and ji hyun's chapter was cool to see. And i think yoo jimin's character changed and became more serious after the events of white day 1 but the story was also pretty straightforward. The sequel doesn't explain anything and doesn't expand on the events of white day 1. It would have been cooler if we receieved the swan song prequel instead

​@@hardmodefbl That bug when eavesdropping is very annoying, you can see how I get past it at 6:48:11 Also yes, what ending you get in chapter 1 carries over its events into chapter 2. If you want Kkotnim you need to have finished a chapter 1 run and gotten the confession ending before going through chapter 2. Here's a list of the order I got all endings. You can reset your chapter 1 run as well if you can't get either Deception or Distrust by playing chapter 2 and collecting the photo from the stairwell of building 1. This game is extremely trying, even for the die hard fans. I'm not certain, but if you play chapter 1 again and get to the end with the new building, 5:32:47 cutscene should appear, and she will give you the choice to collect each seal. Doing that properly will lead to confession and you can then do chapter 2 again for kkotnim. Chapter 1 - Deception - Don't tell where Seo-yeon is when asked. Chapter 2 - Dissonance - Simply finish chapter 2 after Deception. Chapter 1 - Distrust - Tell where Seo-yeon is when asked. Chapter 2 - Karma - Finish chapter 2. Chapter 1 - Wrong Choice - When you get to the cutscene with the plate, ignore Seo-yeon's advice. Chapter 2 - Blackout - After the moon puzzle, happens when you exit the room. Chapter 1- Crucial Mistake - At the plate cutscene, agree to Seo-yeon's advice but instead run all the way to the auditorium doors from the start. Chapter 1 - Confession - Collect all the plates in backwards order and head to the auditorium. Chapter 2 - Endless Whispers - After the moon puzzle, grab the key in the 4f library and then head down the bottom and use the spectacles on the statue. Chapter 2 - Kkotnim Sweatheart.

The game came out in chapters with limited endings before this 'complete edition'. The endings in the game are like timelines for the characters. On the first playthrough it will always be the bad timeline I believe where something major happens and it alters events in chapter 2 to be bad. Once chapter 1 and 2 are finished if you go back and play chapter 1 again new stuff happens and the timeline of the game changes.

There's indeed room for a third game, we didn't get much backstory behind the Yeondu foundation and its motives, if it is a new location it would be cool if they come back to a ruined school in the future towards the end, they could also explore its hisotry of being a war hospital or more about the monks and the effects of feng shui.

If endless whispers was triggering instead of kkotnim, did you make sure you got the confession ending properly and in chapter 1 collect all the seals in reverse order to what they were placed? Also try these steps. - When Seo-yeon is tasked with checking the seals, head to the building 1 stairwell to see Ji-hyeon running away. Head upstairs and check that seal first, then the one near building 2 entrance, new building entrance and finally auditorium entrance. - I grab the Family Picture when I do a Kkotnim run 5:57:19 Building 1 in one of the Stairwells. I know it's meant to reset the choice for chapter 1 so I'm not sure it counts. - The cutscene at 5:58:37 should be a little different where Seo-yon admits it was her and you have to run back to new building. - After the seal cutscene at 6:03:16, you need to read the document in the Principals office. This triggers the next set of events. Then use the key at 3-8 and solve the moon puzzle, if you had confession for chapter 1 it will just be Seo-yon telling Sung-tae to collect the amulet pieces. You should be able to be back in control of Seo-yon. - Grab the stuff up at the top floor Library with the Blue card and read the notes 'old book' and 'Document 2' there. - At the Junk hall for building 2 it should trigger a new cutscene 6:16:23, head in there and grab the diary, make sure to read it. Then when you head back to the occult club 6:20:21 you can grab the candle. 6:21:35 then head up for the ending. **You can try getting the photo I mentioned in chapter 2, finish it and then do chapter 1 again and it should reset your chapter 1 choices. I got wrong choice ending then I play soyeon's part but the ending was dissonance I don't know it was Error or did I miss something? On soyoen's part when you I come out from library then go to stair and found jihyoun It show choice scene that when sungtae open the door and met eunjoo I choose don't tell so I got dissonance but actually it should be black out from sungtae's part It's should connect as I continue two part

Wrong Choice into Dissonance? That probably happenes instead of seeing Deception. You could probably play Chapter 1 again and tell where Seo-yeon is to get Distrust and then Chapter 2 for Karma. Then you could try getting wrong choice into Blackout again. You can also play Chapter 2 and grab the family photo in one of the stairwells in Building 1, finish Chapter 2 and then play Chapter 1 again and it will reset your choices there.

I tried again so many time but it doesn't work I replay chapter1 and 2 continuously but it wasn't work about soyoen's family picture that make songtae meet eunju is work but when I got confession ending I head to chapter 2 but when soyoen go out from library and see jihyoun it still give flashback to songtae and eunju scene like two chapter are not link😭😭

@@sunputtichai9457 ​ If you got Karma, that has lead to the 'bad' timeline of events. With everyone now dead at the end, so if you play chapter 1 again Sung-tae should no longer answer the door in the broadcast room, allowing you to play as Soo-jin and finish chapter 1 until Wrong Choice (Ignore the advice about collecting the plates). Then when playing chapter 2 it should lead to Blackout after finishing and leaving the moon puzzle room.
