I like how her ability comes from her shoes, whereas white diamond’s comes from her eyes. I don’t know if it was purposeful, but you can still see how white diamond originally was at the top, and pink was at the bottom of the diamond authority, solely based on where their control abilities originate.

Stylistically, this actually is a lot more compelling and fits better with the tone they were trying to set w/ "Change Your Mind". Even as the Head Diamond, Pink strikes me as the one member of their "quartet" who could actually be swayed by compassion and could therefore be reasoned and negotiated with. Hell, you could easily shape a narrative where she genuinely thinks she's helping, but sees the error of her ways with the heroes' help. Like Takuto Maruki in Persona 5 Royal. Excellent job.

Or how any of the main characters have changed since the first episode, despite it never impacting the story when it matters. To say nothing of Spinel... but ofc I clearly haven't watched the series. Obviously.

From WD perspective since she is the smallest, maybe she was born like that, pure but lonely, so she started making the Diamonds first to have a family but Pink took over because White didn't feel like actually running the empire and was just one who liked creating other Gems, not knowing how much her actions hurt other planets until she decides to actually get down on a colony to oversee the Kindergartens and only then realized how much her actions impacted on all those planets... The rest is history

This is terrifying, but I LOVE it. I love the rose bush idea. It makes me think, since Pink has the healing tears, and Steven had the shield, and they ever really wanted to do was help people, and heal them. They wanted to see them well. We see that Pink has a garden, several in fact. So, Pink must love plants. She cares for plants, she wants them to do well. Maybe, Pink turns gems into shrubberies, because she knows she can care for them that way. In her own sick, overprotective way, she thinks it's better to turn them into shrubs, that's she's helping them. She doesn't know how to care for Blue and Yellow on their own, but she knows how to take care of her plants. Maybe she became this way because she lost White, so after losing someone she cares about a lot, she becomes way too overprotective of gems, because she doesn't want to lose anyone else again. So she turns them into flowering shrubs, so they no longer have to experience pain or loss, or be put in danger because they are under her careful watchful eye. They are now part of her serene garden, her garden is probably the only place she can find peace. They are safe now. They cannot be lost when they are plants. Maybe I looked into that too much, haha, but I think the idea works very well. Right on!!! :D

Well, pink casual would try to blow up the earth however she would leave it alone cause it's like a grave there. If she destroys earth, she would lose White... Greg and Star quartz(White) Maybe Greg opened up the fact that everyone shouldn't be perfect because she lose things she love which White make rethink of her past actions and understand that she was in the wrong and decided to never be her original self she believes since she thinks her powers should forever be sealed away for other gems safety. Honestly, you and BlooZS have one of the best depictions of alternate universes in the SU AUs! Pink Diamond here seems to be more mature and understanding, she's capable of showing her superiority by actually showing herself when she controls this AU's Blue and Yellow diamond. this is freaking gorgeous!!! and i really really like how accurate the designs are, for example, Pearl looking like she's Pink Diamond's pearl in this universe but actually belonged to White Diamond, the direct opposite of the show. Pink's powers being moss/rose related but instead used in the way that canon White Diamond uses them is an awesome touch, it was executed in a great way. also, this looks like a real alternate universe, it looks so much like the show!! the animation looks very well done. and i love how expressive it is too, especially blue diamond getting mind controlled by the plants!!!!

i wonder how this timeline would’ve gone when steven lacks any sort of healing powers. the gems that get cracked and shattered, lion and lars would never be revived… but it also makes me wonder how gem technology would’ve adapted to pink being their leader. it’s easy for me to believe that they’d extract her tears for healing/revival chambers and for canisters to heal gems on the fly. perhaps these canisters would’ve been abandoned on earth for the crystal gems to utilise. i’m also curious about what homeworld would look like. pink can create life on a whim, so it’s possible that their resource crisis was heavily reduced or non-existent. she could create gem farms with the life she creates, allowing for gems to re-use some of the land for kindergartens.

Because unlike White she could understand easier when the way that the empire is being pressured into perfection is not okay and its extremely unhealthy and easily give in and try to make a change out of her mistake

Ngl the designs and animations are crazy good! But my only problem would be Pink's pose at 0:34. Compared to the original pose of White having her arms wide open, as if eternally greeting whoever dared to meet her or basically making herself the centre of Gemkind by physically announcing her presence with that pose, Pink's pose here feels stiff and awkward as if she has no idea how to act in front of them. Besides that, great job! I love how you used Rose's flowers in that one episode as Pink's means of controlling the other diamonds.
