The diamonds loved pink in their own way.sure they ignored her and punished her for having fun.but pink acts like a child,she's a diamond she needs to set an example for her subjects.sure whites expectations drove the diamonds into stress but for the sake of a perfect empire sacrifices have to be made.Pinks shattering broke the diamonds to their core and the suffering it caused them especially blue and yellow.in a certain point pink destroyed her own kind and made jems fight each other over somthin dull as organic life.the diamonds should have been more considerate about Pinks feelings.

Honestly, a cool idea i and ALOT of others have is that in other diamond aus the diamonds who take pink's place dont decide to become into a quartz but instead into other types of gems For white it could be moissanite , howlight ,and selenite. My bet is on moissanite For yellow, it could be gold . ( which works preety well since yellow actually has electric powers ) For blue, it could be azurite , tanzanite, and sodalite It's also possible for steven to have wildly different personalities and design , weapons due to this, and i just find it so cool.

Its sort of accurate, rebecca confirmed white ( from the og steven universe) somehow plays a part on creating all the pearls , and after the pink pearl crack incident , white made our pearl to pink , but white made our pearl with a bit of her personality, thus why our pearl is white and she is perfectionist and etc .
