You see, it's not just me! They do sound Vintage, like I said earlier, they sound like a modern day "Nitty Gritty Dirt Band". NTB, use a lot of the same instruments (banjo, mandolin and Harmonia).

+Candy Vazquez "White picket fence" is similar to "a home in the suburbs" The couple falls in love marries, works hard and eventually establishes a family in a small but clean and peaceful home. In this song, I think it refers to the loss of the marriage that they had as well as the future he thought he had with his wife. She wants out, so she refuses to forgive and keeps throwing past mistakes in his face, which is heartbreaking. Right now, he's feels lost and wonders how he will ever feel whole again. But the presumed answer to "who is going to mend these white fences" is God, who can heal the pain and suffering in a human heart.
