​@PerryKobalt is not bland, it depends on taste, Indonesia is famous for its food which contains lots of spices. Indonesia is also famous for people who like spicy food, unlike Europeans who like sweet.

@@relxx580 yessir, food is about habit, environment/neighborhood where you came form, weather, etc. for example, me who live in west java Indonesia, we do not eat that much sweet food, when I go to Yogyakarta which is still in Java Island, I don't rock with sweet food that much.

Ah, figures that this was taken last year. Unfortunately, the sit-down restaurant Kelapa had to close down in April 2023. They said this decision was made NOT because they didn’t get enough customers, but just because managing a restaurant is just not for everyone. They changed their business model, and now you can see them as a pop-up.

At minute 3.15 Nick says ketoprak ankronim (abbreviation of words) blah..blah.. we don't agree, don't get used to it. All abbreviations/ancronyms are correct, it could be just for fun, respect the name as a cultural entity, don't take it for granted, "Ketupat "It has historical value since the Walisongo era, which means 'laku papat' Islamic wisdom and Javanese culture, this food at every Eid becomes a symbol of wisdom to understand the development of Islam in Indonesia, which is assimilated into local culture by the Walisongo who spread Indonesian Islam, please respect it. Di menit ke 3.15 Nick bilang ketoprak ankronim (singkatan kata) bla..bla.. kami gak sependapat, jangan dibiasakan semua singkatan /ankronim itu benar, bisa saja hanya untuk lucu-lucuan, hargai nama sebagai entitas budaya, jangan menggampangkan, "Ketupat" punya nilai sejarah sejak zaman Walisongo yang artinya 'laku papat' kearifan Islam dan budaya Jawa, makanan ini disetiap lebaran jadi simbol kearifan untuk memahami berkembangnya Islam di Indonesia, yang diasimilasikan dengan budaya setempat oleh Walisongo penyebar Islam Indonesia, tolong hargai.

It is Chinese culture (I believe Nanyang/ South East Asia Chinese culture, because my friend from Mainland or Taiwan never do that).
