When my father died, I was as normal as could be for months and months. We were exceptionally close, best friends even, yet on the day of his funeral I was going through the motions and thinking about whether I should pop to the supermarket afterwards to get some food shopping in. No crying. I smiled at the funeral to greet everyone while everyone around me was in floods of tears. Dad died in a horrific way, and far too young. It transpired that my brain was protecting me from the terrible things I had witnessed and been through, I was in shock for the best part of a year. I’m not suggesting Jeremy is innocent or guilty, I’m just telling my story. One day about a year later, I was in the middle of a very mundane day, and it hit me at once like a freight train. All the fear, anger, sadness, deep deep despair, denial, all the stages of grief. I now have PTSD and significant anxiety, yet I still often manage to hide my tears for behind closed doors, when I’m alone. We all cope differently, particularly to crueler more horrific events.

I am so grateful for Emma Kenney and the experts to educate us. For example, I did not know that someone who shoots his parents, sister and 2 young nephews was an evil person. I was going to have him over at my place for dinner, thanks for the heads up.

l agree with the sarcasm. but in rreality jeremy bamber is innocent for 20 odd years i believed he was guilty. but i looked again at the case a few years ago.and all the so called evidence as been debunked .the phone logs do really exist the silencer was never used the weapen in the first place that was the main plank of the prosecution case .and the police were speaking to sheila in the house when jeremy was outside with the police.not even houdini or david copperfield could pull that magic trick off being in two places at once

His sister was diagnosed as a paranoid schizophrenic and he called the police number rather than 999 because had done that in the past. The police were not suspicious until his relatives (who had a huge financial motive) began to present theories to the police. The physical evidence is not persuasive-the silencer was found in a closet long after the house had been searched by police (and why would a killer leave this crucial piece of evidence at the crime scene?) and the prosecution LIED when they said that his sister was the only person whose blood type matched the blood on it. And why won't they allow DNA testing on this blood? The main witness against him was a bitter ex-girlfriend, and her account included details from others that were wrong. She also sold her story for 25,000 pounds. His conviction is highly questionable.

Irrespective of whether Jeremy Bamber is guilty or not, I find it worrying that he was convicted on the evidence of the silencer and his girlfriend Julie Mugford's testimony, both of which could have been falsified evidence for their own motive.

Let's not forget the phone call he made to the police station the night of the murders. He claimed his father rang him to let him know his sister had gone mad and had grabbed hold of a weapon. That is an incredibly odd account. A war veteran worried about his daughter holding a rifle doesn't waste any time making phone calls to his other son. Anybody in the same situation would have taken an action. Also, on the same phone call Jeremy hears no gunshots, he reports nothing but the words of his father, whose larynx by the way was lacerated. He wouldn't have been able to speak at all. Also, while we all know that we all react differently, let's keep in mind that Jeremy wasted no time insulting his sister right after the fact and tried to sell her nudes to the press.

From what I've heard and read, Jeremy didn't even do it! What, just because he didn't react to hearing his family were dead? I didn't react when the police came to tell me my mum had died. Like at all. Doesn't mean I didn't love her. They were right the first time I think.

There was literally no evidence. The silencer was planted later by the family who couldn't accept Jeremy inheriting the estate this has been thoroughly researched. It wasn't even human blood they found on it. A complete stitch up but this descends into the narrative that fits. Get your facts right!

just a couple of things to consider but theres lots more.1,after loading the magazine at least twice and than firing 26 shots police could find no traces of gunshot residue on her hands or on her nightie or anywhere else on her body there was no lubricant on her hands from loading bullets which are coated in lubricant not a trace.2 she fired 26 shots and hit the target every time even though neville was on the move after being shot firstly in the bedroom he managed to reach the kitchen receiving further shots on the stairs ,she never missed ,impossible in my opinion as she had no interest what so ever in guns plus the rifle used was a semi automatic meaning when you insert a loaded magazine in the rifle you must chamber a round before the rifle will fire to chamber a round on that rifle you must pull back on a little UNMARKED lever which sheila would not know about having never fired any firearms in her life .the only experience she had was walking along side jeremy while he was firing guns .jeremy is a child killer who wont be coming out anytime soon

Yes I am worried about the evidence that convicted him, he may or may not be the killer, but they did not prove it in court in my opinion. Evidence could have been planted, shocking to discover that they let extended family members free reign in the house, days later, plenty of opportunity to tamper with the evidence. Julie Mugford's testimony is strange too, so long after the fact.

Your comment doesn't really make sense, you are doubtful about the evidence, yet you think Jeremy is guilty. The standard of the court is that is that defendant must be found guilty, BEYOND REASONABLE DOUBT. This video gives only one bigoted side of the story. If you search " phone logs whitehouse farm murders" you will see that Jeremy's dad DID make a phone call to police saying, " my daughter has gone beserk, and has got hold of one of my guns. Check ALL of the evidence and you will see that Jeremy is innocent.
