I would urge you to look at the signs of Parkinson’s disease. This is more likely his issue. Poor, shuffling gait, little to no arm swing while walking, eyes closing for extended periods, low, mumbling raspy speech with dysfluency, coughing while drinking, flat face with little to no changes or scared look (called flat affect), and/or cognitive deficits just to name some.
