I’d say 90% of white knights cheat once in a while, while 10% genuinely only cheat when they know there’s another cheater on the other team. Conclusion: Ubisoft needs a better anti-cheating system

Even with a "better" anti cheat, It's still bypassable. and cheats can still go UD. Ubisoft needs to handle in game reports faster. And have ways to get alerts on high KD players so they cab monitor or directly see their match replays.

@@AntiLaKill This in my opinion is the easiest way to keep track of it. Build a system that flags accounts that have have either extremely high kills all the time or extremely inconsistent spikes in kills in matches that saves the replay to some servers for a big team to go through. Then they can check the tagged players and decide if they believe they're cheating with their back end tools that can likely see more than any of us. It's expensive but probably the easiest way.

My bro used to 'white knight' in Left 4 Dead 2. It'd be a completely normal game, but then as soon as a griefer team killed, he'd immediately cheat to pick himself back up from the downed state, become invincible, gun them down, fly into the air, summon a hundred Tank infected so that the griefers died, despawn all the Tanks, then come back down, pick up all the innocent players, then turn all the mods back off. The shock and awe was funny.

I've tried being a white knight in a different game... It was too addicting to not know when to stop. Moderators were too slow, report button never worked, and apparently you needed to use Discord to report someone with recordings.(They actually work for about 2 hours span) However when I didn't have that info, I met a hacker so I just bullied the hacker while saying "I'm trash? You just got dominated by trash, twice.". His pride went so high that he turned on kill all, and I countered it with spectate, however that kill all was seen by the Mods and they banned him. Downside was: I did not know when to close my hacks, it felt too good not to let go. This happened several times until the point that I can just beat basic hackers without hacks. So yes from experience being a white knight, it's good and bad. Make sure you have proof your enemy is hacking before you activated your hacks or else he'd have the white knight excuse. When the hacker is gone, discipline is your best example of a good player now.

Difference is it wasnt to win matches it was strictly so my friends could play and still have fun. cheating against legit players isnt fun or satisfying, but making some low skill cheater lose the match WITH CHEATS. The best feeling dude in the clip is still a douche bag because now the enemy team who was presumably legit, is now facing the same issue. only exception is if they were talking shit and claiming their cheater was legit. because i see that a lot.

White Knight cheaters don't help the game at all, because all it takes is for a legitimate player to get a wall-bang, have one sus play or do well in a lobby against them and then the white knight cheater immediately toggles on. Cheating in general creates an endless cycle of ruining games for other people until eventually someone else a lobby decides to that they've had enough playing against cheaters and then they download cheats whether they do it to cheat on a daily basis, closet cheat or white knight cheat, it all ends with the same results and doesn't help the game at all. And for those of you who decide to reply to me, yes, I am aware that lixxysmss was blatantly cheating, he's a garbage cheater and he's already been banned from the game. Regardless my point still stands because no amount of cheating in the game, including white knight cheating, will ever help the game, it will only continue to ruin the game, because again, it just takes that kind of situation where a legitimate player does something in a match or does well in a match and then the white knight thinks they're cheating so they toggle on.

I was friends with the guy who made one of the more popular private cheats at the time, used to help him test it and I rather enjoyed the chaos of matches where everyone was speed hacking. Because everyone was hacking, games often played out very similar to how they would normally, round would just end in like ten seconds, was hilarious. Was never something I used on normal servers... except when an obvious cheater showed up. They'd usually leave after just three rounds of realizing I could kill them before they could even get close to the rest of my team. Cheat had a whitelist, so I could only target the one person I wanted to and then just stand still and die to someone else. Fun times, everyone always had a good laugh the rare times I did it.

I am new to this topic, but if someone were to ask for my initial thoughts, I would say that a "TRUE whiteknight" in this context, would be someone who enables cheats and repeatedly kills the hacker on the other team, through walls or something, as soon as they spawn, to basically keep them completely out of the game. This cheater would not kill anyone else on the opposing team besides the hacker, and would basically exclude themselves AND the other hacker from the game and let the other players play essentially normally. It would not be about whether their team wins or loses, but simply an effort to keep the cheater on the other team from having any influence on the match whatsoever.

White Knight cheating was my ethos in GTAO. I'd only turn on my menu when someone was trolling the lobby.
@wolfmayner62748 ай бұрын
The thing about white knight cheaters is that a lot of times, they'll just THINK the other team is cheating and then hard toggle, when in reality they were just losing to a good player.

i did this on mw3 back in the day. vac didnt work at all and every game had a cheater. the cheats i had were ridiculous and i basically spawn killed the cheater until they left then turned them off

I had a white knight on a border game we went 0-3 on defense as the enemy had an aimbotter, however our saviour beans toggled on put on r4c glacier and the dev charm and we won 5-4, the enemy cheater had like a 12kd over 60 ish games and was mega salty afterwards.

I used to do white knighting on CoD back in the day. Would troll them a bit once I knew for sure they were hacking, then if they kept it up, I'd boot them from the match. Later on, got my hands on a modded console that had the ability to outright detect cheaters, and just started booting them from the get go if they were running a program like esp

I believe max payne 3 had a system in place where if cheaters were caught they would only be placed into matches with other cheaters when matchmaking, Ubisoft should take notes.

Even BTD6 does that

doesnt work. CoD has this and a TON of legit players get sent in these lobbys because of mass reports.

A white knight could be more effective if they targeted only the cheater rather than punishing the entire enemy team.
@Gimmy13379 ай бұрын
I was a white knight that only cheated when other team toggled. It was in gold csgo days tho. And before i toggled i was thinking if the person is really cheating or just lucky and good at it. But everyone that played csgo for at least 2-3 hours would know how many cheaters csgo had in the gold days

I’m amazed one of these actually didn’t have a cheater

The only time I walk around looking at walls is if I'm one handing it, usually using my phone cause I'm not done texting, but that shit is rare, so yeah that is a telltale sign

What I think is funny is how people who aren't good at the game who have to rely on cheats to do well would report someone who is genuinely better than them for cheating. Because there shouldn't be a way that anyone would beat them since they're cheating. But it really just means that there's that much of a gap in skill and the person using the cheats who reports for cheating can't accept that someone else could be better than them

Damn this reminds me of my days running a cs 1.6 server. Bringing back those old memories of replay reviewing. Cheaters still do the same dumb shit to get caught from the look of it. I may be a bit outdated but cazjett was hacking. 22:37 he snaps to his head unless some frames were lost.then he stays on his head through the wall. Round 1 they also had preaiming which as you said was suspicious then right after he did the same thing again aiming dead on before he hit the window? as the guy was behind the wall. 32:49 That was pretty odd. different snap there. Maybe it's something with the replay but it sure looks like the bullets are going to their head before he even swings to the wall and the sight have to catch up. Could be wrong but that was really damn odd.

I knew a guy who had the most stupid cheats out there. But they white knighted with it. They had a cheat where they could teleport behind a specific player. They’d use this to pop in behind someone with a shotgun, blow their brains out and teleport into the room of someone else. They’d then stand there and let the enemy team kill them so the match could go on as intended.

The R4C had a recoil reduction at some point for sure. It used to be terrible. I just tried it today. 14-5 with no issues

I honestly think other guns have just gotten way worse. Half the guns in the game have stupid recoil to the point where the R4C, Zofia's AR, and the smg 11 feel normal now

Easiest way to stop cheaters, turn on wall hacks, camp in an obscure corner of the map where nobody is likely to wander into you. Whoever wanders over to you without looking other directions and seems to know where you are is cheating easy as that

hey guys, how do you submit cheater replays to Varsity? I've been looking everywhere.. am I just dumb? lol
@ItsQualitycontent8 ай бұрын
Frustrating cheaters is the best way to get them to stop. A white knight system if properly supported could be a lot of fun for legitimate players while ruining cheaters day. It would need to be added by the actual games devs though. It would basically give instantkill spinbot settings when both teams report the cheater.

Had a buddy who had cheats. But if we got into a lobby with with cheaters. He would say, “that type of game. Ok hold guys” he would give us a mod and we would go nuts. This was during bo2 era. The cheater. Not my buddy. Left the game. And then he removed our mods and disabled his cheats and allowed the game went back to normal
