Words can't convey what this song meant to an 18 yr old kid getting dumped by his first real girlfriend right after high school. Sometimes a piece of music just touches and heals you in way nothing else can. Thank you Vito and Mike for writing this. The re-recorded version on Mane Attraction was just as good!

Vitto had the most melodic and tasteful solos I've ever heard. Just jaw dropping beautiful, and technically tight as hell. What a genius. Such an understanding of peicing together melodies and notes that melt as fluid together gorgeously...what an artist. Surprisingly, alot of geniuses sometime shy away from the spotlight...he deserves this recognition. The solo of "wait" is pure genius... The lady of the valley is phenomenal. Little fighter is awesome too. But I've never heard a more beautiful song than "When the children cry." His solos just sing incredibly by themselves but fit in so effortlessly snug into each song. A rare Artist indeed. The real kind...

White Lion were absolutely awesome. Mike Tramp had it all. Great looks and what a vocal range and voice. I know every White Lion fan says this but these guy's deserved more attention and publicity at the time. I know this can be said about a lot of rock bands of the 1980's but White Lion were very underrated. Deserved more commercial success. I saw them open for AC/DC in New York and they got a bad reception by the AC/DC fans. They blew me away. Such a shame the band imploded. Vitto Bratta was an outstanding guitarist and it is easy to see he was heavily influenced by EVH. Vitto had great tone and was an absolute virtuoso on the 6 string. However he was an absolute asshole when asked for his autograph. I admire his musicianship but not his personality. Never meet your heroes as they say! Love the band.
