What a criminally underrated guitar player Vito Bratta is. Had he stayed in the game and gotten more recognition he would have been as big as Van Halen or Via. His techniques and unique solos are unmatched by most past and present guitar players.

If his wrist& hands didn't get fucked up he be better than eddie van Halen!! He didn't want out of the game !!!
@amac82373 жыл бұрын
@@ernieneverscardinals461 I have a hard time believing he didn’t want out. Several of his interviews from the early 90s alluded to the fact that he was burnt out and fed up with the music scene. There was a certain innocence about him and I think once he saw the industry for what it was he didn’t want to be a part of it. His father‘s illness and his supposed hand injury are valid reasons no doubt, but outside of him saying he had an injury I haven’t seen any other proof. Not to mention he had plenty of opportunity before all that to make something happen and didn’t. Tramp and plenty of others have practically begged him to do a reunion over the past 30 years and the only person preventing that from happening is Vito.

Vito hasn’t played since the early to mid 90s. And in his last interview (which he rarely gives) he stated it won’t be happening. Due to family issues and a wrist injury, amongst other things. Mike tramp has attempted to get white lion back together with the likes of Warren DeMartini,etc but no one wanted to do ( or could do Vito). Out of all the bands of the 80s that have capitalized on reunion tours this one would be epic if it ever happened..

Vitto had the most melodic and tasteful solos I've ever heard. Just jaw dropping beautiful, and technically tight as hell. What a genius. Such an understanding of peicing together melodies and notes that melt together gorgeously...what an artist. Surprisingly, alot of geniuses sometime shy away from the spotlight...he deserves this recognition. The solo of "wait" is pure genius... The lady of the valley is phenomenal. Little fighter is awesome too. But I've never heard a more beautiful song than "When the children cry." Great list, thank you.

Of all of my favorite metal gods, shredders, jazz masters and rockers, Vito Bratta will always reign as the King of Fills. Such tasteful transitions between chords and voicings. EVH and Alexi Laiho are honorable mentions, but Vito is King. It takes a true grasp of theory, talent and taste to do what he was able to do. I'd love to hear him talk about that one day. I think it's incredible that in mid 2020's, this live performance from almost 40 years ago has hundreds of thousands of people who have watched it. The vast majority being huge Vita Bratta fans who just love seeing/hearing him play. Man, he is/was an incredible talent.
