I've actually contacted Mike Tramp about hiring me for a White Lion reunion and here's his reply: "Brother keep doing what you do and just enjoy. I am doing something completely different today and got it under control. Vito would be very proud if he saw this." -Mike

Thats friggin' awesome! Im gonna see Mike on the Monsters of Rock Cruise in a few weeks and I was hoping he would be doing alot of White Lion covers... doesnt sound like that'll happen. One guitar player to another... in my opinion, Vito is THEE most under-rated guitar player of our time. PERIOD!

AWEESOOOME! But....If you were to play with White Lion; I think you'd have to start recording your own stuff and prove that you can be as creative as Vito (damn difficult task); and finally, put a bit of you're own genuine playing. I mean, ripping off and playing Vito to the letter and with 100% accuracy would have people say that you're a wannabe; not playing Vito accurately will have people say you're not up to the task...(haters gonna hate...) For me, I'm quite happy to hear guitarrist playing as it was originally recorded (like Chris Broderick in Megadeth). Who wants to listen to a solo of Wait by WL, different from the original, which is perfect???

So he gonna say Yes to play with you rob? If he does, I hope you don't change anything for vito's solo part. It's really annoying when the guitarist who play with mike change the solo. Vito's solo is amazing and unreplacable. Please don't change or improvise the solo if this could happen

From detroit Michigan! Much love yall! White lion "wait" was the first solo that fired up the rhythm in me. However i went the drumming route! In closing my dad has played guitar for 50 years and hes pretty good! Iam 6 years outta a nasty divorce and im "finding " myself again. I bought an electronic drum set today and we will see how it goes! These videos have gotten my heart back into music!! Thank you sir! Your work is stunning because no other guitarist can rock those harmonics like you and tito do!! May god bless you and keep you good sir!

All of Vito's guitar work on all 4 albums were amazing, but to me.. I really love the sound and detailed the solo's were on the Main Attraction album.. Lights & Thunder and Warsong give me goosebumps.. incredible guitar work on that whole album though...I sure miss Vito...Wished he'd come back with a new band or something. At least we have these 4 amazing albums to inspire us..

Show your face, dude! That's Vito Bratta there, damn! (a bit chubby, it appears, hehe) How did Vito fu...ing Bratta come up with so damn sick, harmonic, powerful, and complex solos? Outta the charts! I just, somehow resumed listening to his albums; didn't know what I was missing, really. I was stuck in Poison, Dokken, Gn'R, Van Halen. I just recently heard, for the first time, the album "Mane Attraction", dude, had I known wat I was missing; pure genious, period! Congrats, you nailed it. Playing at that ease takes shit lotta time, practice and even soul!

Rob Peters don’t worry about the weight! If you can play like that..... Vito’s my favorite too. When Wait hit mtv I had to get a guitar like him. I let it go years ago, but recently picked up a white Strat w/trans-trem. I have a few ‘Berger’s, but. Ant play half as well as you. Keep it up!

Rob- again, great job here! Hey- another 80’s underrated guy(albeit not on Vito’s level) was.....Derek Frigo. I’m curious if you ever tackled anything he did? His band got a bad rap due to their over the top image- but when I think of the “hair band” era’s guitarists, there’s a short list- Sure, Guy’s like Vai, Lynch, Slash, Mr. Big(Paul!), etc. we’re awesome and most are still releasing material. But mixed up in the Poisons, Warrants, LA Guns, Trixters, Cinderellas, Bullet Boys, Skid Rows, Faster Pussycats, etc.....there was Vito, Andy Timmons(Danger Danger) & Frigo(Enuff Znuff). Those 3 stood out - Frigo had this weird chaotic vibrato, pinch harmonics, and whammy bar stuff that was so melodic but I couldn’t replicate. Lots of players use the bar when they don’t know what note to hit next or where they’re going- Frigo for me, was never about the notes he chose, but how he got there. Not a shredder or super fast like Vito, but his playing had soul. I think he did 3 albums with Enuff. True story- I was playing back a tab of a solo of his on that midi player most pro tabs use, my girlfriend said it sounds like a cat getting strangled! Even the midi couldn’t process his playing.

Lights & Thunder - How do I bridge the gap between a grungy solo & my EVH roots. (trick question, there are no solos in grunge)...well actually there are some great solos to be had by Soundgarden, Candlebox, AIC. Vito is king of the 80's solo. Melodic, technical without the machine gun, rip through a scale, exercise.

@@1trkmd Sounds Great Follow your Dreams, You know years ago we were playing in Dana Point when a person in the audience gave we me his card and said I should come by the studio.About a year later we were looking for the lyrics to a Bonnie Raitt song. When I turned the album over to look for the song list, the very first thing I saw was his face. The guy was Bonnie Raitt's recording engineer Fritz Richmond.
