About:
This video is a step by step how to healing guide for Conjurer and White Mage for FFXIV. This beginner healing guide will provide a healing rotation for Conjurer and White Mage. I will go over what skills, abilities to focus on as well as how to understand the fairy gauge. I will also make mention of Conjurer and White Mage as well as Astrologian. This is a great beginner's guide for all new players trying to start with healing in ffxiv. This healing guide is geared towards new players from World of Warcraft or WOW, Elder Scrolls Online or ESO and Phantasy Star Online 2. It is good to know the abbreviations for all healing classes: Arcanist and Scholar ACN SCH, Conjurer and White Mage CNJ WHM, Astrologian AST. I will be talking about FFXIV Scholar, FFXIV White Mage, FFXIV Astrologian, FFXIV Arcanist and FFXIV Conjurer. I want to make a ffxiv scholar guide, a ffxiv white mage guide and a ffxiv astrologian guide.

This was exactly what I was looking for. A summary of WHM, updated to current content, that explains the mechanics as they are given in leveling and how they build as you level. And delivered at the perfect level of detail for a DPS wanting to be useful by having a healer leveled up, but doesn't necessarily want to min/max main it. Perfect timing to since I just got into the game. Thanks!

Hoping for more content like this. Im no means an MMO newbie , but I haven't played one in probably a decade. It's super overwhelming to start fresh a game that has already years of history, content, culture and community around it. I'd like to take the game slow and learn properly, but hard to when everyone else running even the level 16 dungeons at breakneck speed

Honestly people who get anxiety over playing healer is because they don't properly read tool tips and they don't practice their combos enough to feel comfortable. Astrologian was my first healer class and after a few weeks I mastered it and felt comfortable in dungeons and raids alike. :)

One of the best raid leaders I ever played with was 70 years old. If it's your first MMO you will find that it's the simple things nobody tells you that are hard, but once you get those down, the hard things are easier. Don't stop! For all new players in 14 it is these basic and obvious things that are the initial barrier. This video is exactly what new players need: When to do what.

on behalf of my 54 WHM, THANK YOU! Years of WoW made me very anxious about learning to heal, period. But I sat and listened to your advice, rearranged my powers (putting cure 1 further down) and wow, you cured my healxiety! Jumped into a Snowcloak (which I had NEVER done) with the new arrrangement, made sure to dot and keep regen up on the tank, and not be afraid to get in with the other players to take advantage of Medica II and Holy....aside from the last boss whacking me when I didn't get out of the way of an attack too fast, I did great! Much better than I have before now, and I had so much fun. Now to just remember I have the Lily and take advantage of those O mp actions.

These tips made a BIG difference in my healing. Most of the stuff I was already doing, but combining Confession with Medica II, always keeping Medica 2 up, and dropping holy at the end of a pull were new (or, at least, somethign I wasn't doing regularly). I've been kind of nervous feeling I'm not really pulling my weight as a healer or using my abilities to their full potential and this really helped. I'd also been mainly focused just on keeping the tank alive, and healing others when/if I could. But, with this more proactive approach, and being freeer with Afflatus Solace, I'm able to cover the whole part, and even spend a good chunk of time DPS'ing. I still look at healing as my main priority, but am a lot more confident about letting the regen effects keep people going while I help with the beatdown.

Hey, I'm just stopping by to say that sprinkling Medica II into my "rotation" was probably the best advice I've gotten since I started playing the game a month ago (not a WoW refugee) - aside from finding out that I generally am supposed to do damage maybe. I’m no stranger to MMOs (FFXI, WoW, GW2, Rift) but I just started playing FFXIV a little over a month ago. I usually run DPS, but decided on healer because I got tired of ridiculously long queue times for dungeons. Since the MSQ line requires you to complete dungeons, I had to learn quickly, so I watched dungeon videos before them to have a clue. It didn’t dawn on me to watch a WHM “how to” video until I reached level 65. This video helped so much and I realized I was making many of the mistakes pointed out. I started running all the dungeons again starting with Sastasha so I can practice the mechanics and ability rotations as they build up. Watching this video was a game changer. In the last dungeon I ran earlier today, with a good GNB tank, I only had to cast cure a handful of times and spent most of the dungeon DPSing. The only thing I have to figure out is a better way to target mobs on the run to cast DoTs. Thanks for the guide.

Great guide! I come from WoW raiding and the mentality that you must always keep everyone at 100% health and overhealing is expected, for the most part. This guide definitely helps to retrain my WoW healing habits. It's okay to let the party be at 80% health! They're not dead! The big takeaway really is dead mobs don't do damage - spam that Holy.

Great guide! I’m levelling WHM as an alt class and one problem I ran into was the duty finder often took me to low level dungeons like Sastasha and the like. So I got reeeeeal used to Cure 1. I grouped in Stone Vigil today and had a had a hard time. I forgot about a lot of the other abilities and spells I had cause I never really had to use them until today. I guess it’s a good idea to not completely rely on random dungeons and to sometimes force yourself into harder dungeons as you level up.

Your video is so helpful. I'm in early 50s playing for my first time and still trying to finish up MSQ for main game and move into Heavesward. I had a bad experience in Snowcloak and felt like crap having failed my group 3 times. This was the first time I've had such a bad dungeon experience. The tank I was with was great and offered a couple helpful suggestions and DPS were understanding. I decided to go do some research and found your video in addition to some reading I did. You not only made the same two suggestions he did but other ones I had either stopped doing because I'm used to MMOs expecting you to become focused 100% on healing later game (I was doing Aero until recent on mobs as we ran through the pull process and just stopped making it a priority). I didn't realize I should be doing Holy at all so I'm excited to try a dungeon and see how much a game changer it is, I just had assumed dungeon mobs ignored the stun for some stupid reason. I'm feeling a lot better about moving into all these new abilities 50-80 now after reviewing your video, thanks so much.

Not to mention I've not been using Medica 2 enough, using Cure 3 too often. The other thing I was doing wrong was I was still favoring using Cure 1 trying to get that MP reduction, though I had considered stopping because I noticed that damn thing never seems to proc. Maybe I'm crazy but it feels like it procs more often if I heal the DPS instead of focusing on the Tank.

Hi Jeff! I am super glad that this was able to help you! One bad dungeon experience can stick with you for a little while, but once you get into the flow and routine, any dungeon becomes possible even if things go south quickly. Medica 2 is definitely great for casual content and will keep everyone topped up so easily. that with regen, seems to cover most situations. Cure 3 is more niche since it has such a tiny radius of healing comparatively. I am glad that you figured it out and want to keep healing, alot of people walk away at that point for a little while.

I keep medica 2 up all times in dungeon runs and I use lucid dreaming mixed with thin air to replenish up to 80% of my mp and if you activate those when they pop you'll never run into mp issues. Why give the party and your tank anxiety over hp when you can just have hots do the healing for you and you can focus on dps popping a cure 2 or ogcd heal on the tank when a major hit happens.

Using my free casts was very liberating. I mostly played with friends when I started, but I've always been open to tips and tricks along the way. A lot of the things you mentioned in this video I already do - though I wasn't always like that XD. Footing is also extra important - where you are in relation to others and their relation to you is important. After playing healers, I became much more acutely aware how large their AOE healing circle is and as DPS am always trying to hang out close enough to get the benefits. As for medica 1 - it does have a higher base potency. I don't use it nearly as much as I used to, but in situations where party HP are seriously reduced (like in TG) and I have found myself solo healing mass booboos, Plenary Indulgence + Medica-MedicaII-Medica pretty well brought the party all the way up and throw an Assize on there for good measure

Hell yeah!! Great guide for new players!! I main WHM, and that balance of heal and DPS has always been my view point too. Gotta have both to be the most practical. One thing I'd recommend to new or anxious healers: If you're new to healing, tell your party! Parties are a lot more willing to help you and guide you when you let them know you're new :D And, if you're not confident in healing ask your tank to do small pulls!! You can ask this, it's very normal to see this get asked. So please do. You really are allowed to ask for things in this game. Communication will save you a lot of trouble, and the tank can prepare accordingly. Also, this is info aimed more at anyone new to MMO's: Use the party list to heal! You can click on their name in the party list, and it will target them. It will make your life a lot easier than trying to click on players running around ;D (You can also move the party list closer in reach, via the HUD menu). ( I'm sure someone's mentioned it, but at 10:30, that's the icon for Cure 3, not Divine Benison. Similar poses @ ^ @ )

This was a really great video, a great supplement to what ive already learned from others, one thing id like to add though is when talking about medica and medica 2. While usually a single medica 2 can top off the party and get the tank going for your nexts heal, in cases where you need to aoe heal spam its actually better to cast a single medica 2 then spam your regular medica, by doing this you save yourself some mana and don’t continuously overwrite the hot from medica 2

This is so helpful! I've been playing for a week and chose a whm since I've always loved playing healer in most games. I have massive dungeon anxiety and have been pushing through it and doing dungeons because I refuse to let it keep me from enjoying the game (and I do enjoy them once I get over the anxiety). Everything was going well I've been doing them and most people were really nice even if I messed up and I'd recieved quite a few comendations so I was doing much better with regards to the anxiety until yesterday. I did the random duty and ended up in the Garuda (normal) trial, which I had done a few times before and hadn't found particularly difficult (I also looked up a guide). Well not this time... I think none of the other three had done the trial before but when I asked if they knew the mechanics they just went for it. It was CHAOS, the tank ran Garuda around the map, damaging the stones, no one killed the adds (except me), no one hid from the aoe, people were just taking damage left and right and at the switch to the second phase we wiped (because the stones were too damaged) and the tank says something along the lines of: healer, do your job!... I ignored him told them to kill the adds and keep the rocks healthy (admittedly I could have explained the mechanics better) and we proceeded to wipe 4 more times (at least 2 more of those for the same reason as before). The dps got the clue and at least started focusing the adds and hiding behind the rock but the tank was honestly just running around like a headless chicken blaming me the whole time and telling me he is not seeing me casting heals, when I was literally running out of mana while using potions and keeping lucid dreaming up at all times because I had to keep regen up on all 3 while spamming cure II or medica just so they wouldn't die. On top of that they kept running around so much that they would interrupt my spells because they would break line of sight with the boulders. I swear I did not cast more than 2 stones a few aeros and a few holys because there was literally no window for doing dmg. It was soooo frustrating. I'm sure I probably did a lot of stuff wrong but I'm unsure how I could have done better except for maybe using swiftcast more (I tend to forget about it when I'm not using raise) and being more aware of peoples positioning? If anyone has any tips I'm always open to hearing about it :) ... But I was also quite frankly overwhelmed and very annoyed at the tanks attitude especially since he seemed completely oblivious to any of the boss mechanics... This set me back a lot and I'm trying to work up the courage to do dungeons again and this video is really helpful. Hopefully I'll get more resistant to those situations XD
@BunBossFFXIV
@BunBossFFXIV 3 жыл бұрын
I saw your comment and wanted to wait until I got home to respond. that trial is difficult for a lot of new players and even two , especially a tank will make that fight hard. I find in my experience that being a healer and knowing the mechanics, I am strong on my stand point of the mechanics. Sometimes exuding that, How can help with mechanics and explaining them will solve a lot of the problems. Hey no worries that you are knew, these are the mechanics for this trial. I sometimes even do that starting a dudgeon or trial off if its known to be rough for sprouts just to avoid that situation. In that particular experience for you, you are not at fault as a healer even if someone is blaming you for that. I think just letting those type of experiences brush off your should will allow for more enjoyable game play. Don't sweat the small stuff. Just simply state the mechanics and if they don't follow encourage them that the mechanics cannot be skipped like specific trial. Because sometimes they can be skipped so they learn bad habits early on. Satasha being the first dungeon where they learn this. Since you can burn through the boss. Keep up the good work and don't take haters that seriously. Just educate and be positive and do the best you can do

I think mana can be an issue in 30's 40's when you or other party members are under or over geared. Under geared longer fight more damage taken, over geared much bigger trash pulls which even with more mitigation means longer fights more damage taken then many small pulls. In which case the mana efficiency of cure 1 and cure 2 free casts can keep you from running low on mana and be able to spam cure 2 on a needs basis. With everyone in 50+ gear it sounds like that changes.
@BunBossFFXIV
@BunBossFFXIV 3 жыл бұрын
I would tend to agree if you didn’t get regen at 35 which practically replaces spam healing since it’s a hot and is the most mana efficiency. In my personal experience, it becomes more of players not understanding cool downs and healing over times and just continuing to spam cure 1 or cure 2 when there is more to the tool kit. You are absolutely right about the gear. Having a few pieces below dungeon level really make it difficult for both healer and tank.

I'm a new player and have just hit 50 with my WHM. I've been happy enough with healing until recently, but I feel like there are now a lot more boss mechanics in dungeons that require movement in a short window and I'm struggling to pay attention to the fight mechanics, party list and my MP levels simultaneously. I guess I'll get used to it, but this video has definitely helped reassure me that I'm using my skills correctly. Thanks!

This might be useless advice by now, but in case it helps anyone else. One thing that helps with that is to adjust your HUD. You can bring the party list closer to your hotbar, so you don't have to move across the screen to heal someone. Don't pay too much attention to your MP bar, you can see that in the party list & dont need to look at the main one too much. Once you have Lucid Dreaming, use it on cool down so long as there's damage happening, and your MP will recover easy enough. :D Regen is great for healing whilst you're moving to avoid a mechanic, since it's an instant cast. (As is Assize, and Divine Benison, Tetra, and Lily's at higher levels after 50)

Two more oGCD could be used regularly: Benediction and Sprint. Sprint is often used when the tank popped sprint, as the video was shown. For tanks, sprint is the first mitigation in wall to wall pulling, and Rampart is the second. The tank might not receive healing in time if you cannot catch him up. Benediction is the tricky one. As I mentioned Rampart is the second mitigation the tank popped. Sometimes, they popped invulnerability instead. Walking dead, Superbolide and Holmgang without mitigation can drop your tank to 1 HP in 2-3 GCDs. If you have Benediction ready, it can have very good mitigation synergy.

As someone who has just started getting into healing in FFXIV, being a long time WoW healer, I want to thank you SO MUCH, for this video as I was extremely nervous that at high levels in the big group content, healing would become far too complex and I'd be unable to handle it. This has eased many of my fears about that so thank you again for this guide. I'll definitely be saving this video to remind myself in the future.

@@nirvanaem87 Can't speak to that but the mechanics of higher level fights, which I have done are way more intense then anything I've done in WoW. IF the tank uses mitigations during pulls, 7 out of 10 times the pull begins and if heals dont come ASAP the tank dies no time to cast anything else, fuck sometimes the tank is running and he is allready at 50 percent health..... but yeah strive for usefulness its good practice

Normally I usually recommend healers to precast big heals even if the tank doesn't need a heal and cancel the heal if they don't. This way you preserve MP and shorten the cast time. But in FF that isn't relevant at all, you want to DPS instead, and mana doesn't seem to be an issue.

Fantastic guide! As a sprout, thank you so much! I've been playing through the content slowly for a couple years now and started as a WHM and I'm just at the end of the main Stormblood expansion (not the post-SB patches, so still a ways away from ShB). I've picked a lot of this up just in the course of playing, but this helped solidify some things, like I was never quite sure when to use Aflatus Solace, but this helped confirm I should be using it way more than I am o= Also I didn't know about that over-healing causing agro, which explains why I would pull agro so much, so I will definitely adjust my playstyle to account for that ^-^ One other tip I would add - I personally keep the enemy list near the centre-right of my screen so I can easily target things, and then on the center-left I have my party list for quickly targeting my healing and keeping a close eye on everyone's HP and buffs etc. I have my target info and their buffs above the enemy list too so its right there and easy for me to see when my buffs / DoTs run out so I can re-apply them right away. Keeping critical info like that near the middle of the screen means its right there and you don't have to waste precious time flinging you eyes all about the screen, so keep the most critical stuff for your job in a U shape close to your character, less important stuff in a wider U shape around that, and then anything else wherever you like. Then just train yourself from there to regularly check those things like every 5 - 10 seconds. That helps a lot with the situational awareness side of things, which is a critical skill for all classes, but particularly healers as you have to juggle healing your team mates and damaging the enemies AND dodging mechanics all at the same time. Being able to quickly react by having the party and enemy lists close to hand so you can see the info AND target whoever needs it makes a huge difference.

There is a slight leeway on Lilies, yes you want to keep the lily timer rolling, but if there is no need to cast any heals during that time, you will want to be attacking instead. Just because Lilies are considered GCD heals you will lose out damage if you were in a middle of battle. During in between pulls you would want to expend all Lilies to get Afflatus misery so when the Tank stops pulling you are able to cast a giant AOE immediately. Basically to sum up it is okay sometimes if your lily is capped when there is no healing to be done. It is better to damage when healing is not necessary, expend Lilies in between pulls to get Afflatus Misery faster. Of course this is talking about endgame content you will have majority of your kit unlocked. Though this is just a rough idea of how to pull. If you are worried that you will need to use those Lilies in the add pulls, feel free to save them :D

I'm not an mmorpg fan nor have I played any extensively (except Runescape and a little bit of Black Desert) but I've always felt like I'm missing out on good games, so over decided on choosing FF14; and I want to play healer but I have no idea which class to choose (whm, sch, or astr). I prefer the middle of the road class, not to hard to play nor too easy, doing healing while providing dps. However, I've went through several videos about what healer class to choose and how they should be played. I've also been overwhelmed by the amount of information and duties that a healer should do. I find it difficult to stay in an mmorpg that I pick up, and all of this info is somewhat inhibiting to my motivation to play, despite my forced interest in this genre. I appreciate your video though. It's helping me turn to WHM class than the others. I'm still undicided about playing the game however.

I only want to add/clarify that 'oGCD' is not JUST something that has no cast time. A lily has no cast time, for example, but is still a GCD. All oGCDs are instant; not all instants are oGCD. The only oGCD spells white mage has is Assize and Tetragrammaton (excluding buff abilities such as wings/confession, but I'm pretty sure these were skipped entirely, along with Divine Benison). . The former you explain, but I think it's due to explain that 'weaving' takes place between an instant cast spell and recast time. Tetragrammaton is a free oGCD afflatus rapture. Cure 1 is /sort of/ useful as a weaving tool due to its lower cast time as well. I believe it's prudent to speak on the AoE lily as well if you ever follow up on this.

I think most people are aware that Cure 2 heals more per cast than Cure 1, I think it's more about the mana efficiency at ARR/early HW levels when you don't have any oGCD heals nor Thin Air, so you'll run dry fast if you heal mainly through Cure 2 (+Regen of course).
@BunBossFFXIV
@BunBossFFXIV 3 жыл бұрын
You would actually be surprised at that first part. I can totally see mana efficiency as a reason but you do get lucid dreaming. I think one of the main issues is people not using this skill at all or very little when it’s literally free mp regeneration and should get used to using this. Hopefully the video will help them understand lucid dreaming and cure 2 while keeping their healer geared as well.
@covertintel
@covertintel 3 жыл бұрын
There are more reason to use cure 1 as it is faster so you cast and run away out of aoe. While with cure 2 you may have to move before finishing the cast. It is much more mana efficient and you can get free cure 2 for casting cure 1.
@BunBossFFXIV
@BunBossFFXIV 3 жыл бұрын
@@covertintel hi covert! Cure 1 being mana efficient is the a non factor in my opinion. If mp management is the reason for casting cure 1 that is a bigger concern to address. Casting because it’s shorter to move out of aoes is definitely valid argument but if your in the way of an aoe which I find in my experience most healers are not compared to dps 🤣 then just moving and using cure 2 would be more effect or better get a regen as you can move and heal without a cast time in early content. And it would heal way more then a cure 1 . I guess that would be way more mana efficient if players are concerned about that.

I dont like playing healer cuz we're the only role that has 3 responsibilities to focus on. Tank has 2. Hold agro(which is basically just dps with tank stance) and mechanics in boss fights. Dps has 2. Dealing damage and mechanics in boss fights. Healer has boss mechanics, healing party AND dps. That need to switch targets back and forth between party members and enemies constantly is the number one extra thing that no other role has to do. Both other roles simply need to target any single enemy then spam their rotation(single target or AoE) till the target is dead. This objectively makes healer the hardest of all three roles. And as such the "healer anxiety" is absolutely justified. Especially for those who struggle even just with the boss mechanics alone.

@yanicuze8820
@yanicuze8820 3 жыл бұрын
I’m sorry but I just laughed when you mentioned “AND dps” because healer dps rotation is so easy a child could do it. I get bored out of my mind healing because of it. The dps for healers is two buttons at any given time, dot and aoe spam (which with White Mage is piss easy because you do not have to lose track of the tank by clicking on enemies to use the spell and it stuns preventing all damage incoming) or dot and single target attack. Most healers have an “oh shit” button that brings a targeted player right back up to full health (or very close to it) too allowing you more time to just spam your one button. Regen on WHM and AST also is basically automated healing where you don’t have to pay too much attention while its up just make sure to reapply when it goes down. In XIV imo the challenge comes from doing your offensive rotation optimally and healers do not have a difficult one to learn. Advice for you about targeting for heals and attacks though would be to move your party list and enemy list closer to the center of your screen that way you can just click on whoever you want to attack or heal. And since the two lists are closer in your peripheral vision it’ll be even easier to swap back and forth.

very good and informative. I always hit tank with regen prior to his pulls, but will wait from now on. I notice that you didnt bring up benediction?? or rez? my biggest fear is getting those tanks that have to pull the whole dungeon at once, or everytime i take my focus off the tank they take huge damage and it becomes a button mash to heal them back up. so far the people have been great when we wipe.

The biggest advice anyone can give imo for healers is: Let your tank be damaged, don't ever heal him to full outside of bene.. Tanks has so many small heals and regens, if they are not below 100% what value does those have? nothing :) ffxiv is so much about WHEN to heal, and not how to heal.. I'm glad you put so much importance on medica II(I think you blatantly adviced people to overcast it tho :P ), because often one medica II is enough for a mechanic on a dungeon boss.. Everyone should remember, if you aren't gonna deal with two mechanics right after each other, using time to let passive shit heal is hella effecient

Hi Jesper! I do agree, with my audience being mostly 24-35 I have to assume to type of adult mentality lol. Use it often, meaning of course let the timer run out on the regen before having to cast it again and in most cases fights will be over by that time for trash mobs and such. Once people feel comfortable hopefully they switch to having ogcds and for efficient healing. But that would be beyond the scope of this guide. This is just for the newbie newbie newbies or have never healed before 😁

Note, I am not at all meaning to put down your guide. It's great! The first point "Don't overheal" and I'm already lost, though. You see, that is not something I ever found simple. It requires a lot of anticipation of what the tank/DPS are dealing with and that is complex. And seeing as I'm no good at that, I'd end up with no MP in boss fights and we'd wipe. Healer anxiety is a major thing for me. It's fun to feel like you are playing a major role, but as for me I'd rather just play DPS and not have to worry about that as much. Doing maximum damage is a role that stresses me out far less!

Make sure once you are at 6 to 7k mana to use lucid dreaming. Overhealing is using cure 2 when a tank or dps has taken "chip damage" as in they took low damage and are at 90% hp. You will heal them to full most likely but that extra mp you used is essentially wasted and you will run out of mana pretty fast. I pop regen on tank when he pulls a boss and will only hard cast heals when tank is at roughly 60% hp. I'm not sure what level you are at but later on you get some really good free and instant heals. You almost don't have to hard cast healing once you're in the 70s.

Hello. I am very new to FFXIV still in ARR. I started as a summoner! However I am planning to switch to White Mage possibly and I was wondering if you were planning to do a Upgraded White Mage guide? With all the new Changes Endwalker made, it made summoner a bit more complicated and I really understand your videos! They are so detailed and informative, I usually have a hard time understanding stuff cause of ADHD but you're really good and helpful and it makes me happy I can get all the info I need!

I do not necessarily agree with using Medica 2 on each pull, but I do agree 100% with using Assize. I used to keep away from it, using it only in dire situations, and I regret it. It deals damage, heals, gives you mp and its cooldown is not that long.

Medica II outside of AOE damage is overhealing and unnecessary... unless you apply it to have 2 regens on the tank

exactly.. I was thinking "Who is this dude playing with if everyone is taking damage in dungeon pulls" :P

Yeah, I only ever pop Medica II in pulls if an undergeared tank is messing with my ability to DPS or a Monk or Dragoon stands in AOE the entire dungeon. I think it's situationally decent advice, and if you're an unsure healer, go ahead, but I wouldn't worry about doing it every pull unless the party requires you to, or you yourself happen to be a bit undergeared.

I'm new but I'm not quick enough to take a look at gear before everyone runs off. So what I do is take a quick look at how much the tank is taking damage to what he/she should be. If they are taking large amounts of damage from just the first pull, I know I will need to do a little more healing on the tank and a little less dps. If the tank doesn't even need to be healed after the first pull, I know I can focus on dpsing and just glancing at tank and party health every few seconds.

depending if your using mouse and keyboard or controller can help determine a suitable way to look at gear as healer. Tank will be just fine though checking. It sounds like you got it down though!
