I am African American. This is in our famous“ Raisin in the Sun” play … one daughter wants to be an atheist but she says that under her mother’s roof there is God always! We have to trust that God will bring strength and what is good at the right time. Although a daughter or son maybe become a prodigal and go live in the Far country, still we the rest of the family can reach our hands to Jesus in prayer that they will come to their senses, realize the truth, and come back one day!

African life is full of fun and memories. I remember one time, mama sent me and when I reached on my way, we played with friends until 7pm. Those who get it, know what was next for me.

I saw the slap before the end. As an African American I can say this and I stand on it, you can take us out of Africa but you can't take Africa out of us. We still holding on to our roots. 😂 Edit: Oh by the way, my great great grandfather was Nigerian. I didn't find out until recently so it goes to show you they passed alot things down from one generation to the next. 😀

oof yeah my mom did this to me. she called me ugly, beat me and told me I was possessed, tell me she'd kill herself. she made me want to go to church even less. now, every time it's time to go, I grow anxious and hate it. all this violence did was just to tear me apart a little more from the religion. I wasn't even an atheist! it's not worth it. your kids are people too, respect them and at least talk to them calmly.

Children that lack discipline usually have no home to put any parent. They usually end up a drug addict, in prisons, etc. Ask the western world why they always need foreigners to come over. They need 'abused' youth from foreign countries to come and run their industries since they have raised irresponsible generations.
