The white noise of a shower at home can be a very warm and relaxing listening experience for you or your baby. I recorded this sound with my binaural microphone rig positioned outside of the shower, with the door closed. I edited the audio and video using Adobe Premiere. Running shower white noise and other similar rain sounds are great for masking unwanted external sounds, which makes them the perfect ally for study, sleep, stress relief and meditation.

Mmmm fills me with such peace just reading your comment. My cousin and I would do this sometimes. We’d take turns laying on the floor while the other showered. Steam would fill the room and the sound of someone washing, the swooshing sounds were tranquil. I was never so relaxed and carefree. Thank you for sharing your story. 😊

This is so calming to think about. It reminds me of when I use to be a synchronized swimmer, we’d stay really late for some competitions. And we would be so cold, wet and with a light coating of gelatin on our shoulders and back. We’d come back to the hotel after a hard day, exhausted. And then since we’d all be so cold we’d all shower together. Although it reminds me of being freaking cold and stained skin and sticky coatings, it gives me a warm feeling of nostalgia. The sound of the shower hitting the floor of cheap hotel shower. It’s so peaceful and cozy sounding. :)

A running shower has proven to be a versatile therapeutic solution for many issues. Headaches, insomnia, and indigestion have been soothed by running a hot shower and kneeling over the tub's edge. The combination of sound, the steam, and the light pitter-patter of water against my face generates more tingles than ASMR ever has. But as you can imagine, that's not a very responsible use of water, so having this video with its excellent fidelity is essential to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart (and dry bathtub). ❤

Everything you’ve written is so true. And yes, nothing beats the real thing. I wish our world had an unending supply of water and we were required to use as much as we possible could. But I’m glad we have these awesome videos. Water has been my saving grace for years. Lying by the shower or tub as a child was my safe place. I never felt better or more at peace. Yep that's a great idea! I can try that! :D I used to explore tunnel systems when I was a kid. It was scary but my friends and I would fully take torches and strap them to our hats and bring food and everything! We went as far as we could before the tunnels got smaller and smaller.. Good times... :')
