This is the hit-making line-up of White Plains in the early 70s. Pete Nelson on lead vocals on I've Got You On My Mind. Robin Shaw on bass. Robin Box lead guitar. Ricky Wolff on rhythm guitar. Roger Hills on drums. Brian Johnson on keyboard. White Plains performs three songs on this Ed and Zed show. @@kevinpayne5699 Pete Nelson was lead singer on the studio recording of "I've Got You On My Mind". For the song "My Baby Loves Lovin", it was Ricky Wolff on lead vocals on the original recording. Pete Nelson and Ricky Wolff were the two main vocalists for White Plains. Pete Nelson passed away in 2005. Ricky Wolff passed away in October 1, 2023.

Never seen this in colour before. I was the same age as the primary school kids in the video. They must be in their late 50s or very early 60s by now.. wish I could have been that happy back in 1970 as these kids were.

Tony and Roger fronted White Plains on Top of The Pops, when they were getting established. They couldn't commit touring with the group, as they had too many projects going on. So the decided to provide backing vocals on studio recordings only.

Not changing the lead singer. Tony wasn't the only singer in the band. Pete Nelson, the singer in the video, was indeed lead singer of a lot of White Plains songs, this song and another great one " When You Are A King"
