White Poinsettia Santa Bucilla Stocking Part 1

Another great beginner friendly stocking that is new this year! I get to show you this gorgeous Santa stocking. Hi Jennifer, I have learned so much from your videos! Perhaps you could cut the cording in half and put it on either side of the coat instead of behind? This would probably give you another inch or two of length.

I think the cording is as long as you can get with the length of thread you are using. To get longer, you would buy the DMC and cut the thread longer than 36 inches. DMC comes in a skien that is about 8 yards long. Perhaps you can make a second cord and tie it in the middle to fall down the robe.

Try knotting those 18 strands of each yard length of one color to the end of the other, THEN twist. You folded over each yard length, thus you twisted twice the thickness with half the length. Clear as mud? 😆
