Excellent. This can easily be made much longer more facts and examples for each . I was trying to explain to my mother the other day , she’s 85, how racism still exists. And how the present is a direct result of past . She’s Italian , white. Married Puerto Rican. I asked her to remember of an example when my parents were faced with racism due to Gomez being our last name . She told Me that when my parents first got married and looked for an apartment, she , using her new last name Gomez , was told the apartment was already rented. Then her mother Vaccaro, last name. Was told to come look at it and it was still available. I told her to imagine that for 50 apartments . Imagine that for work . Imagine that for shopping when you are being watched for no reason other than your last name , if it was visible . Now imagine that every day 10x a day for your entire life . And I saw a documentary on that Doll experiment. It was heartbreaking.
