Based in the USA, he wrote for the latest season of Epic Rap Battles of History and is a regular closing act at the world-famous Comedy Cellar in New York, and the Comedy and Magic Club in Los Angeles.

Well. It’s understandable for black people to hate white for all the slavery and humiliation they had to go through in the past. I don’t support it, and not all nations of white people were involved in black slavery, and not only whites but Arabs also were heavily involved, and Africans themselves used and sell slaves , and finally many whites were enslaved (Ottoman, Persian empires, Arab caliphate, Roman Empire and so on took white people as slaves). Best thing we close the page on this and never return to our barbaric past. But for white peoples hating other races due to their feeling of superiority is much less understandable for me

Just because you don't understand the reasoning behind reverse racism doesn't mean it doesn't exist as a concept. Just Google it, you might learn something.
@kevinschultz6091
@kevinschultz6091 2 ай бұрын
Well, the actual definition of "reverse racism" is that (in America at least) policies that are designed to address racial injustice are actually discrimination against white people. It's a common conservative talking point, and there's very little evidence to support it. (Rather, what is more likely occurring is that, to those who have only known unjust privilege, a move towards equality feels like oppression.) that being said - yeah, Chris Turner used a more basic definition, which is "minorities being racist to white people" - which I agree is just "racism". EDIT - hey all - if you disagree with this post, that's fine. But as you can see, this thread is (as of writing) over 150 posts long. Before giving me your counterargument, please check to see if someone else has already given it, and what my response was to THEM. If you don't, the only response I will give you is "please read the thread fully, and get back to me when you have." And if you continue, I will reply with "already addressed above". EDIT II - also, please let me know which post you're responding to - I have almost 40 of them in this thread, as of writing. If you don't, I'll simply ask you to clarify, and won't respond with anything else until you do.

How do we know she wasn't just joking? How do we know she wasn't just some friend of the comedian who he asked to shout that out in order to get a load of viral views online? We don't know. Like almost everything on social media now, we in fact have very little clue at all about the reality of the situation, yet everyone is being instantly reactionary in their big instant opinions and just believing the viral video narrative. Manufactured controversy sells like nothing else and all anyone wants now is for as many people as possible to click their links after seeing wild controversial titles and wacky thumbnails. Something to seriously think about, because it really shocks me still just how many people seem to have no clue this is how the entire internet now works (also spilling over to other media).

And if we had to pay reparations for slavery then we would be going round and round forcing every country to pay up because slavery didn't start in the 15/16 century its been around since the beginning. That moment when someone says: "cultural appropriation" and then realizes that person knows more about that culture than many others do. Consider it like a challenge. If I were about to play blues or jazz guitar, and someone says: "You are appropriating culture"...I think the only response is a laugh and then "Hold my beer". Then I could be like: what style u want? Desert blues, gypsy jazz, spanish flamenco, texas blues, delta blues, hillcountry, appalachia? I can probably do most of that. (Edit: UK blues? I can probably play some yardbirds or eric clapton style, atleast a little bit. Zeppelin is easier for me, because it has that irish and appalachia folk sound).

Historically, for those who care about race, Spanish (and Mexican in particular) people are either white or not, depending on the political needs of the day. (Usually they are, though, just because most can passe blanc.) Although for Mexicans in particular, the "no" column was usually justified by pointing to mestizo ancestry. @@BWWWAAALORDOFDUCKSExactly! She only responded to his prompts. The number of people who didn't watch or didn't comprehend is staggering.

@@BWWWAAALORDOFDUCKSa suggestion that he is appropriating black rap culture from the 90s, that is not a random innocent suggestion

@LinksQuest no one said it was random. He's a comedian, some of his jokes skirt sensitive topics, and some people will suggest sensitive things. the video only shows her suggestion. There's is nothing I can see or hear in this video that means she should get the hate some people are giving her. It could just be well edited and she was a terrible member of the audience, I don't know.
