I just got my paracord for $99 on ebay and then bought the pro scales for $30 last month. Better than $150 I guess. Best knife ever. My combo is this White River and the Dragonfly2.

This knife is very nice, but the 5col version was modified, they sharpened 90 degree spine for use striking sparks from ferro rod firestarters, and i never use this feature, and i like a well polished and rounded borders, so, i preffer the original version. Anyways it is a very very nice knife, a must have for sure.

@@Reviews4fun1 did you buy one? I am ready to pull trigger on M1. Just because I like izula2 better that izula. But I want s35v. After watching reviews I think white river has a classier quality. Where Esee is all about go use and abuse your knives! Not that white river couldn't handle that. It's a mental hurdle!

Love the scale version. Without them not so much. I wish companies would stop with the bare blank grip thing. Does anyone actually enjoy using a knife like that? I also dislike the paracord thing. It looks funny, gets covered in blood and gross and doesn't feel as good as real scales. I am also lazy and don't really want to spend the time to make it look neat. But still, much much better than nothing. Also, I am just not into the trend of putting cord on everything, making bracelets and watch straps etc. I think it just kind of screams "I love survival videos and collecting knives, but don't even go in the woods. I also just find it visibly unappealing. No offense to people who actually do and like cord style stuff, I just tend to see more armchair survivalists covering everything in cord than legit outdoorsman doing it. I live the design of these and will probably snag one with scales for edc and hiking.

G10 orange scales easier to see against green brown background in forest. Unless it's fall, then it's hard to find with fallen leaves. To each his own I guess.

I have the green one it’s awesome. A lot of my stuff is neon green so it was a no brainer for me. Plus orange is kind of a benchmade thing.
