I EDC my firecraft 5 for a while. I absolutely love that knife. I gifted my mother a FC 3.5

We love the FIrecraft series. We just reviewed the new Firecraft Puukko. Great knife.

Gotta say this knife does look appealing. The problem nowadays its hard to find a store to see and feel things. In a picture it looks like a fancy steak knife. The big turn off for me is the thin handle. It might be thick the other way but who knows. I talked with the designer i really like him. He's a good family man and veteran. I would buy it just to support him if i had the money. Personally i don't by knives over $150 and really most are under $100. I believe anything more is brand and marketing supporting it is saying its ok. Im not talking custom small shop. Im talking production knives especially overseas most are made for penny's.

Tha lack of knife stores with decent inventories in unfortunate. The Exodus handles are thin, but still easy to grip. It is definitely far tougher and more functional than a steak knife. Both Exodus Knives and White River Knives are run by great people. Their knives rock, but they are not cheap.

Look too much like a steak knife.

Yea that is the problem with a two dimensional medium. However, neither knife feels or performs like a steak knife. They are much tougher and more capable.
