If the interrogated feels in danger, is scared, or is being tortured for the information, they won’t tell the truth. They’ll just say what the interrogator wants them to say. This isn't so different from solitary confinement that happens in US prisons all the time. Things to do in a white room: -draw designs on the white wall with your blood (It's a nice canvas so long as it's not too slippery, if it is, just wait a while for it to coagulate a bit) -whistle/sing (it's nice to make up some new songs once in a while) -tap with your fingers for a beat (it can be addictive) -make up a fictional universe in your mind (I would imagine what I would do to those fks when I get out) -if you have long hair, make some braids or hair bracelets. -play some pranks on guards (that would probably get you hit, but the whole point is to rile them up right?) -pretend you've gone crazy just to let them get you out, and do it over and over when you want to get out for a while -pretend to knock your head on the wall and die, and see what they would do.

This is hilarious because you are literally listing the things we would do in there when I locked up in one for weeks at a time in a mormon run brainwashing program as a child. Well except the second to the last one. The whole point to is to completely and totally psychologically break you past the point of no return, so they literally don't care if you are screaming or saying crazy things to yourself or just sitting in the corner playing your own feces (and kids there did all of those things). So they are only letting you out if you manage to find a way to injure yourself to the point where you will die without immediate treatment. I can only imagine that an Iranian prison might be worse than a program for American children. Although who knows, I mean doing the things they did to us to captured enemy soldiers would be illegal under international law. But apparently doing it to children is legally acceptable.
