Jerry had a big say so in the ballpark's design even though he knows nothing about stadium design and insisted the state of Illinois pay for the place. The double deck boxes were all his idea. If it sucks it is because HE sucks.

Let''s let the cat out of the bag. MLB Franchise values have reached their peak, and are about to decline in value. The loss of Regional Sports Networks and broadcasting revenue for many team, along with now 2 teams without home ballparks, forcing them into smaller minor league parks is putting the MLB into major financial issues. There are about 6-8 teams that have a someone uncertain future of ownership and home stadiums.

Good riddance. I jumped off the boat after 53 years of rooting for them. Once I knew Getz was the new GM and LaRusta (LaRussa) would look over Getz's shoulder, I jumped off the Titanic before it hit the iceberg. They could play in Timbuk 2 for all I care.
