When I was a counselor at juvenile hall the kids had some free time to organize a football game. The teams broke up into blacks vs Chicanos. I am a Native American and agree with Godfrey on the importance of a community helping each other. My children attended elite schools; they had the grades that justified their acceptance into Ivy League Schools. Our community has programs that support our kids from the start of their educational journey. Kids who desire to enter professional careers are sent to preparatory courses to prepare them to score well on entrance exams, such as law and medical school tests. Also, networking is a crucial component of the process. Parents are connected to established professionals in the field where their student is pursuing, such as a lawyer or doctor, to mentor the student. The majority of us have much love for and respect for African American people. Hearing stories of disunity is heartbreaking!

For instance, Muslims lament for the days of the caliphate, where they believe all of their folk were united.
