My sister sent me this video and I thought I was just going to see another good recipe…but I got sooooo much more! This video ministered to my soul! I don’t even know where to begin. First, the Holy Spirit in each of you as individuals and between you through your marriage and the love and respect and support you have for one another shines through this video so brightly! It completely touched my heart. Second, Your love for God can definitely be felt through everything you both do from cake baking to even the cake tasting! Third, this cake looks INCREDIBLE, so I’m definitely going to give it a try! I bake from scratch as well and started a small business some years back. I stopped baking for a bit, but prayerfully I would like to start again. My sister and I took a Wilton baking course at Michael’s. If you have one in your area, maybe you’ll want to try one of those classes since you mentioned you wanted to learn more. However, based on the skills you demonstrated in the video, I thought you were already trained! You really do great work! Finally, I just want to say thank you for what you are both doing. I enjoyed watching you bake while explaining the process of adding the ingredients. A few years ago, I stopped baking because of spinal stenosis, which causes numbness and pain in the back, feet, legs, and ankles. Currently, I am gradually getting back to it. I always did delicious cakes, and like you, I wanted my cakes to look equally good as they tasted. I went to Michael's and learned to decorate. I had. a wonderful instructor who was very patient and taught me a lot. I encourage you to do the same. You will be very proud when you do! 😊

My daughter is home from Connecticut for good! ❤ So her & I made this cake today. Teresa this cake is delicious 😋! We had more batter than we needed for the pans I used lol (don't ask 😂😜) but it turned out well & I had poured the extra little bit of batter in a small cake pan we just pulled it from the oven 5 minutes ago & we have been snacking on the extra man it's good! I wish I was setting at that table with the two of you, so I could have a bite of that cake!! It turned out BEAUTIFULLY and looks DIVINE!!! I have NEVER heard of White Velvet cake and I have not heard of the clear Vanilla either, so you taught this old girl some new tricks, and I’m 60 years old!! A true White cake is one of my favorites, so I am definitely going to try this recipe! It wouldn’t hurt my feelings if there was some sweetened Coconut sprinkled on that frosting either!!!
