If someone can help me contact Debbie, the South African lady on this video please. I would like to help her get out of this place. Although what she did was a crime, she has definitely paid her dues and then some, as well. For example, the average sentence times for female prison inmates from the UK, Europe, or Australia, who got caught smuggling drugs in this region is about 4-5 years of actual prison time. The largest female drug smuggler in history, from Germany, only end up serving 8 years total in Australia. Debbie has servers between 9 1/2 - 10 years now, which is overkill here. Everyone makes bad decisions during their lifetimes, but most deserve a 2nd chance in the end!

Well, Debbie is really learning a tough life lesson and this will really change her entirely. Prison is never a good place for anyone but if you break the law then this is just one of the many consequences you'll have to face. On the brighter side of her situation, she is deprived of many things she used to enjoy before and yet she lives and have 3 meals a day. Consequences.

Interesting how she has completely adopted the Filipino pronunciation of English. Age 32. Been incarcerated 9 years in the PI. That would put her at age 23 when she went to prison. Is this her same age when she first arrived in the PI? Typically a 23 year old will retain their 'accent' even when moving to a location where the community speaks the language differently. I wonder if she has purposely adopted the Pinoy accent?

This is how prisoners should be treated in America! In America, prisoners live a luxurious life inside. A comfortable room, nice plentiful food, entertainment room and exercise area with gym equipments, but still, the prisoners cry for more rights! Gangsters rules the streets and police are helpless…pathetic!

Debbie (ful name Debbie Penz Reyneke), was 24 when she was arrested on oct 23, 2013. She had come through Dubai. Good thing she wasnt checked there, that would have been a death sentence). She carried around 40 million peso worth of cocaine (8.5 kg) From the news I could gather, I got the impression customs knew she was coming. Though maybe her itinerary gave it away Peru Argentina Dubai Manilla Oh wait. the news says: “Reyneke’s arrest on Oct. 23 upon her arrival from Dubai on board an Emirates flight was the result of the bureau’s enhanced intelligence network.” “Customs officials at Naia were already alerted about her arrival and the possibility of having illegal drugs in her luggage." So it was a giveaway, someone ratted on her. All the times i have been in the philippines customs has only once checked my luggage. What is most surprising though is that the few photo's of her arrest picture her as a black woman with black rasta hair. Nothing like the girl pictured here in this video
