Although what she did was a crime, she has definitely paid her dues and then some, as well. For example, the average sentence times for female prison inmates from the UK, Europe, or Australia, who got caught smuggling drugs in this region is about 4-5 years of actual prison time. The largest female drug smuggler in history, from Germany, only end up serving 8 years total in Australia. Debbie has servers between 9 1/2 - 10 years now, which is overkill here. A sentence of 20 to 40 means it’s covered by Indeterminate sentence law. She can apply for and be granted Parole after service of one third of the minimum period (20). To That’s at least 6 years with time off for good behavior credit. But no appeal if you ask for leniency. She has to choose… will her appeal ever be heard? And is it meritorious?

Debbie (ful name Debbie Penz Reyneke), was 24 when she was arrested on oct 23, 2013. She had come through Dubai. Good thing she wasnt checked there, that would have been a death sentence). She carried around 40 million peso worth of cocaine (8.5 kg) From the news I could gather, I got the impression customs knew she was coming. Though maybe her itinerary gave it away Peru Argentina Dubai Manilla Oh wait. the news says: “Reyneke’s arrest on Oct. 23 upon her arrival from Dubai on board an Emirates flight was the result of the bureau’s enhanced intelligence network.” “Customs officials at Naia were already alerted about her arrival and the possibility of having illegal drugs in her luggage." So it was a giveaway, someone ratted on her. All the times i have been in the philippines customs has only once checked my luggage. What is most surprising though is that the few photo's of her arrest picture her as a black woman with black rasta hair. Nothing like the girl pictured here in this video

@Shebathebigcat getting checked in Dubai isnt a death sentence. Getting checked and them finding drugs is

As long as they all behave appropriately...its better than walking on thin ice were someone tries to bully other inmates...they are already paying for their crime..no need to judge them so much

She fell in love with the wrong man, a man who was going to profit from her foolishness. Affirmation that women pick wrong men then wail about it later. It's as if the men who wouldn't use them are undesirable while the users are. If only women would learn from themselves. Genesis 3 is alive and well.

This is their nature, they will never change. That's why you need fathers to protect them from poor decisions, but feminism decided this is not needed anymore.

I’m not empathetic for someone caught smuggling cocaine, which ruins societies and keeps communities from prospering. Unfortunately for her, this will be a lifetime endeavor, so it is best to pickup the accent as quick as possible.
