Magnetic Whiteboaed Paint!! To be honest, l had never heard of this type of product before so when the guys from MONSTA handed me some Write Paint product to try, l jumped at the opportunity. Initially l was really curious as to how the paint would come. Would it be an all in one paint or are Magnetic and Whiteboard paint separate paints?...Does the magnetic paint, once dry, actually hold a magnet and does the Whiteboard Paint erase properly once written on??? Well stay tuned folks, all these questions and more will be answered in the video! Check it out and please let me know what you think.

Another top video Shane. I'm thinking of painting my ceilings with magnetic paint, so when the rellies come to visit, I just stick a few magnets in strategic spots on them and solves problem of where they sleep.

Hi Shane, great project mate. The paint is by Monsta and your selpor is made in 2004. Addition to ur tip. Put it in clingfilm and put it in the freezer, you can use it after weeks. 😉

Great Idea. My question is, how did it hold up? We've used White coated pressboard from the hardware store in the past- it worls great for about 3 months and then starts to get hard to erase, markers leave ghosting, etc. Does this paint you used hold up long term, or does it need refinishing? THanks!

Can you sand down the magnetic primer to get an even smoother finish? I know you mentioned painting it on too thick I'm just curious if you could get it super smooth.

Nice project although a bit pricey when you add in the actual cost of a tin of undercoat, magnet paint and dryerase. The least expensive is the sheet! Not too bad if you're making 10 of them. I've got three little knuckleheads that like to come over to grandads farm and are experter measurers. Trouble is I can never find my tape measures afterwards!

The thought of buying a huge magnetic erase board is terrifying; the high price of dry erase, boards of the larger size is costly. So this would solve a problem I'll Make one. I did enjoy watching your video. I noticed that your board had some dirt on it. oops, I am so sorry, it was my Video screen. lol :-) Some dirt on it! Just maybe I need to paint my computer screen. Thanks for the video and have a great day! Great Job. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Update: Later the same day I posted the above. I just made a Magnetic Dry Erase Board today, the size I made was 96" x 48". I was going to paint both sides, but it turned out I needed more than I thought I would need. Purchased my supplies and made it. I just woke up out of bed and decided to do it. So it is all done and I am waiting a few days for it to dry. It is winter and today was a warmer day than usual so that helps. The price I spent was $119.42 - I used plywood, the better plywood, 1/2" very heavy to move around. Thanks again for the video. :-) 1. Magnetic Paint 2. Dry Erase Paint - White 3. Roller, Brush, two extra 4. 1/2 Board - 96" x 48"

In the USA we call it TSP, trisodiuom phosphate. Its a dry granular powder( looks like sugar) you mix into water and use for cleaning. I googled it and thats what i got.

Pretty good Amanda....if you watch my videos you'll often see it in se in the back ground 👍 What l have noticed two years on is that if l leave the marker on for to long (longer than a week), l need to use methylated spirits on a rag to get a good clean. 👍🇦🇺😁
