Lyrically great, but let's not pretend, despite being musically great, the early lyrics are mostly basic violent extreme metal. Their lyrics aren't underrated.... Phil just really started opening up and pouring guys heart into them, so they're now getting recognized for lyrical abilities people weren't aware he had.

You can always find a bit mixed in to the lyrics allot murder, slitting throats, but the record itself wasn't exactly a deep dive into who Phil is and why...... The lyrics might have a bit mixed in but ise in a way it can be brushed off and nobody being any wiser. Seen them right before that album dropped.... Great stuff
