ONE OF THE BEST WHITECHAPEL ALBUMS. Wish they'd return to this massive sound. Until then I will just listen to their old shit and bands that continue to slap like Thy Art Is Murder, Infant Annihilator and Fit For An Autopsy. Sucks to see Whitechapel turning into a garbage southern rock band like Daughtry. Whitechapel used to be my favorites. Their violence and vibes just transcended through their music. Not sure what happened with THE VALLEY album. Literally shocked me. I guess you have to respect the artist but it really seems they felt like they had to reach a new audience which I think is a huge mistake a lot of these heavy bands have been going for in the latest years. Maybe it also makes room for new heavy bands to take over. Anyone have some good suggestions for new decent deathcore bands?

Brand Of Sacrifice, Shadow Of Intent, and Lorna Shore are great. I don’t listen to deathcore as much as I used to but these 3 I keep coming back to.

The Valley still has good deathcore tracks. And i feel like they progressed into just another good deathcore band into an all around great band

Fit For An Autopsy lost their edge when Nate (ex vocalist) screwed over the band and left. He had the best angry tone with his vocals.

The band Opeth, try Patterns in the Ivy part 2, Harvest, Credence. But most of their old songs have both heavy parts and acoustic

Between the Buried and Me have a lot of acoustic and instrumental parts. Colors is by far my favorite album by them. Definitely a lot of parts very similar to that acoustic part in End of Flesh. Its a very progressive metal band that blends a lot different styles and can get pretty heavy at times to also being a bit more light-hearted. Listen to the album Colors all the way through if you do though.
