I auditioned for these guys in Chicago. They were just about to put out In The Kingdom. I wasnt really familiar with their music. I didnt play bad, but Mike and Butch came in together and both got the gig. It was a whirlwind experience. I drove from Stafford, VA to Illinois. My one and only visit to the windy city. It was...windy. 😊

You can tell that Rex Carroll is light years ahead of these guys. He definitely stole the show. But he definitely humbled himself to play with these guys. No offense but he’s way out of their league.

Rex Carol is the Christian version of Eddie Van Halen. Rex plays just as well as Eddie in my opinion.
