Thanks for the support guys - appreciated as always! The Carbon Collective Hex Nano polisher.. as with EVERYTHING else that i use (hardware, polishes & coatings), I have not been paid or sponsored to use/promote or talk about it! I received it a couple weeks back and giving it a test-drive! So far so good; a great alternative to the iBird (which i love and have x2 of) at a fraction of the price. If you're in the market for a nano polisher it's definitely one to consider. Comes with a nice kit, too. That's all! Cheers, Jim.

Bought the exact same one a month ago in preparation for the arrival of my brand new motorbike. Bike was delivered to my door with more swirl marks than that Taycan. Spent two days with the Nano polisher with Scholl XXL and Menzerna 3800 followed by a couple of coats CQuartz Lite. Bike now looks brilliant. I didn't rate the supplied pads though. @WhiteDetails What pads do you use with the nano polisher?

After now completing a two stage paint correction my two cars, a Lexus LS460, and a little MX5, I can confirm that I am not a Jim White. Whilst his obsessive attention to detail is inspirational it is very difficult for a weekend warrior like me to maintain. Truth is, doing a really good job is very hard work, especially when you are doing it outside, over winter. The temptation is to rush and say "that will do". It literally took months to do the Lexus, taking one panel at a time when weather permitted. Jim, thanks for giving me the motivation to keep going, albeit with only 50% of your level of perfection, the results are great and now, finally, I am really proud of both cars. We can't all afford brand new cars, but we can all make what we can afford the very best it can be. Keep up the good work mate!

One of my most favorite parts of your videos is that you show the things that make you feel stupid. Things that happen to all of us. When you go to sit on your seat and it's not where you thought it was and you almost fall. Pressure washer hose gets wrapped around your feet, etc. Best detailing videos on KZbin. Please don't ever stop.

I think you should do a STORY TIME. Favorite detail, worst screw ups, cheapest car someone submitted for a full detail, best product you ever used, did you ever ruin some paint, worst detail, most expensive car, etc etc. I think fans would dig it !!

Jim, I purchased a 5 month old used approved car from a German manufacturer with 80 miles on it, yes 80. I looked at the paint work and I could see the damage all those single bucket washes with a chammy had made. I built the cost of stage 2 polish paint correction into my negotiations, declined the dealers “paint protection”. I booked a local detailer who had been recommended to me to undertake the paint correction and I pushed the boat out for a ceramic coating as well. The best think I ever did.

Jim your videos are awesome and from what i've seen from others, i truely believe you are 'the' master! One thing i've noticed, when you're washing the car initially, you take the wheels off each side to clean them briefly whilst doing the arches, then you put that side back on, then when in the unit you take all 4 off and take them outside and thoroughly clean them. Therefore when you take each side off initially why dont you just thoroughly clean them at that point? just my observation - but you have been an absolute inspiration to me, and cost me £100s in buying 'stuff', so thank you :)

Lovely job! If you are shooting with a Lumix camera, you might (extreemely rarely..!) get a corrupt file showing as an .mts file. I think caused by a blip in battery power. The sound and vision gets 'separated', but you can get recovery software which will analyse the .mts file and mend it. I've only once had this happen in 10 years of using Lumix kit, footage of a VIP giving a speech..sigh. Thank goodness for the software...!
