NEVER PULL A BOX TRAILER WITHOUT A SWAY BAR.... i just rolled my truck and trailer due to a high wind gust compounded by black ice. Almost lost my wife and kids. I've been towing for years. I know not to panic brake but it doesn't take much before its just beyond control. Never thought i needed a sway bar for a little 7x14 TA. I didn't have one. I'll never do that again. This advise may just save your life. PS. Nice trailer. I'd like to show you my new one when i get her done. Everyone was jealous of my old one.

Size don’t matter😂 come on.. your wallet matters and where you purchase it. You don’t want the builder to do anything inside. You want to get the thickest alloy on the outside (.050) 6klb+ axles and no roof cuts. Solar and a mini split Ac is the way. Can’t wait to build mine! Thanks for the video bud

Sharp looking on the outside ... white is a color that always looks good ... you barely see any scratches and looks good even dirty... I think you could put an awning on it would be a nice addition plus you could put a toolbox on the tongue for additional storage ...but that sits pretty!!! Interior is fantastic... I’m thinking that you maybe a perfectionist cause of some of your comments... but she is a beauty inside as well ... You should be damn proud of yourself I really like the layout absolutely excellent way to have shower and bathroom set up ... I am starting to get an itch to do this ... I wished you would elaborate on the cost...

This layout is great. So much nicer than anything we ever had. I guess I will go ahead and tell you when I was a kid in 1970 " my age" o well. Anyhow on the weekends me my bro and my dad would go to Everett where dad worked and help Martha with her camper trailer business doing repairs and at the same time fixing an 8 foot truck bed camper. It was a great experience going on Saturdays and getting to know Martha and her son Greg. What brought these memories back the most was metal curtain clips on a metal rod, and the curtains being burnt orange i and semi transparent in our Reno. Ultimately it was the tinking sound from bumping curtains that drove us kids into tents.

Ron B. Being former professional breeders we've had a great many felines and never had the toilet paper problem. Maybe some cats aren't as well behaved.
@joewoodchuck3824
@joewoodchuck3824 6 жыл бұрын
Ron B. I would have to disagree with you on the "freedom" point. Along with the near universal agreement with breeders, we believe all cats, nonpedigree included, should be indoor only. There are multiple reasons. Disease, free roaming domestic dogs which for some reason aren't under control of the owners as they should be according to law, wild predarors, vehicles, theft (especially of pedigreed), and lack of outdoor skills. Some people also believe that outdoor domestic cats are responsible for adversely affecting wild bird populations though I've never seen statistics on it. We're also of the belief that no cat really NEEDS to be outside. With captive breeding especially, they don't miss what they never had. We keep them well equipped with entertainment and exploration opportunities and they seem to enjoy all of it very much. They are very much loved and cared for by us and we derive great satisfaction knowing they are fed the best quality foods, generally Iams, protected, clean, and closely watched by us for any problems which may occur. Both my spouse and myself had outdoor cats when we were younger and quickly learned from our breeder colleagues what a mistake it was. We know many people who have experienced extreme problems with their outdoor cats, including mysterious disappearances which in actuality were untimely deaths. We further believe that rather than taking anything from cats by always being indoors, we are instead giving something to them in terms of comfort and well being. YMMV, FWIW, IMHO, etc.

I had a black navigator and matching black 6x12 trailer when I lived in OH. It was great. But I moved to South Florida and very quickly realized black in Florida is a VERY BAD IDEA! There can be up to a 30-40 degree difference between white and black! So my next truck, I got a white Yukon XL and I’m planning on getting a white trailer to convert into a toy hauler. I travel all over the Southeast installing gym floors so I need a garage section to haul my tools, and I’m a big guy so I need a big shower. So I plan on building my own.

I'd love a 7x14, but if they have an 8x14 or 8.5x14 that would be perfect. I'm contemplating betweem financing a 15k used small toyhualer (half ton towable) or doing a super simple, but good build to one of these, using long lasting material instead of cheap lightweight stuff. All I really need is power, a bed, maybe a couple fold/flip down tables and a ton of storage cabinets, everything else is just a bonus

You've built a beautiful aesthetic into your design, regardless of what "imperfections" you seem so worried about. I just have a couple functionality concerns, mostly concerning that sofa space. There seems to be very little head space over the sofa, and I wonder how often you bonk your head sitting down there. You didn't detail the curtained space over the sofa -- is that storage or another sleeping space? It seems like it should be raised (or raisable). The angle to the TV seems poor; I take it you have it on a fold-out arm with a swivel so you can be looking more straight-on? I would love to see data on height, GVW, etc., as I'd be interested in building something like this only if it could be towed with a Ford Ranger-type pickup or van. Otherwise, outstanding build!

Your Carpenter looks fine, what you need is a tube of painters caulk. The other thing is Bondo makes a good wood filler. Remember that “puddy and paint makes a carpenter what he ain’t “ and final words of wisdom “a good finish carpenter always has a tube of Dap”. Nice build btw.

don't know if anyone commented on your instant hot water heater... that needs to be vented because it will produce major amounts of CO2... (i'm assuming it runs off propane) i used to use those in indoor grow rooms as water cooled CO2 generators and they will majorly boost the CO2 levels in the trailer... it can kill you...

Nice video. Horrible intro "music". Should roof mounted ridged solar panels be considered, a curved roof is less than ideal. Look are not everything. Flexible solar panels wiil do the job on a curved roof, but the this type of solar panel has a short lifespan which is reflected by a short warranty period.

For fitting the curved corner areas near the "cillin" (not misspelled), make a cardboard pattern, refine it to fit perfectly, then transpose it to plywood or plastic pattern.. Voila..!!

Anyone who See's this message you are so valuable and special to Jesus, he died for your sins so that they can be forgiven ,come to him as you are doesn't matter how broken you think you are , he loves you so unconditionally no matter where you've been and he knows you personally doesn't matter what you done he'll forgive and wait for you to come to him so he can give you rest no joke he loves you so much! I want to live in one later on lol I was spiritually dead wanted to die didn’t care about life ,I went through so much in life physically and mentally that my feeling became num in a way and I started seeking God and He found me he revealed stuff to me and why I had to go through certain stuff in my life, only to bear more fruit in my life ,I’m not telling people about Jesus because some pastor told me to or something else I’m telling people because He gives a peace that surpasses understanding 😔👍

Hey, I'm a videographer and your video is good and very easy to follow, You have obviously learned not to move anything too fast and I'm not sure I could explain something as well as you did while shooting, so bonus points for that! My only problem was the music is too in your face to start and I almost moved on 10 seconds in. I would either be very conservative with the level or pick up that Guitar of yours and record some east picking with chord changes.

Love this build, you were so right to convert a trailer we bought new caravan, 3 yrs in and roof and walls were wet, so much effort to fix the problem, we fixed it then sold it and converted a 36'6" bus to an RV much better, we were able to put in it what we wanted where we wanted it, this actually became our home for 18 months while our house was being built, so much fun, anyway stunning build, nice use of space and well explained thanks for shareing.

You are right, I live in an area where they manufacture RV's and Caravans, they are made quickly and methodically but not to a high quality, they do look lovely when finished, but they are not made with the same robust materials that we would use ourselves, so they start to develop faults straight from the factory, I have seen RV's that have been returned as many as 11 times in a single year, Converting a Bus or Coach, is by far the best option, and you build the quality you expect giving you the quality build that we all desire, I wish you luck, and lots of fun.
