I think this is a good plug in, it shows you (to an extent) what it is doing when you boost and cut using this EQ - basically a reminder that ‘basic’ EQing with wide bandwidth filters is often a very helpful thing rather than always being super surgical. It’s permission to do the simple thing - often we over think EQ moves in the digital domain (because we can!) For that reason, a good plugin. Nice video and greetings from England!

That's right but maybe you could have done a special video to evoke the consumerist thing. It's a bit unfair. I just spent 30 000 euros in analog EQs, compressors, outboard reverbs and "color" tools. Who can afford the real deal when selling your music will provide PEANUTS ? Thank you Pulsar for these democratic tools. Well, I used to own a Trident A-Range; it was 44 inputs. The EQ was very sweet and not all surgical. It sounded great, but it was VERY maintenence intensive. After that we got an early Neve 8078, which was better with maintenance. Then, 9/11 happened and people stopped coming to New York City to record. The studio closed sometime thereafter. It was great while it lasted! PS: There are ways to tighten up the Q's and/or make it behave like the original.

In White Sea's A/B test, the software had the right curves, but the hardware added a pleasant thickness to the low end. I was thinking of getting a pair of Link W92X kits, but the output stage is THAT1646, so it might not get that low end either.
