I was hiking outside the Olinghouse District. But off more than I could chew on this knee buster of a hike. I slipped and fell twice on my return trek. The second fall was scarier than the previous. I was certain I broke my GMT, fell on hit (yes it hurt). Quickly turned the GMT on, still works. These Whites m. detectors are built well. I use my detector to act as a snake 🐍 detector as well. Have come across two Prairie rattlers this summer 2024. Never go without Scout, my Border Collie/Queensland. Also, bring lots of liquids to drink. My last hike scared me. Hiking w Scout is cool, but dangerous. He licks my wounds literally, but he has his limits.

LOL!!!! that other prospector that came down on him.. was ME!!! LOL, also Craig Colt and Derek Desota..,. You shoulda seen the look on his face... then we realized who each other was.. We thought we had rediscovered the "lost" Briggs Pocket, then we hear beeping down the hill, HA!! Josh beat us to it!! Still laugh about it today....

great video on the BRIGGs pocket. about 15 years ago i heard that assay report came back at 500 oz per tone at 1500 ft depth.

I use a whites GMT, I've had it for years, Have found gold, I don't get to enjoy it much due to where I live, but it's a great detector extremely sensitive, Best hobby in the world 🌎

'Brigado! Either the Miner John or Coiltek will serve you. They are very close in performance. Brasil Detectores should even have a few if you want to test one first.
