Big Oregon Flake Gold

Great day out prospecting part of southern Oregon. A new spot found its way to our path.....I worked it with the little time we had but found some big gold flake! I was able to run three buckets with a real good return on some sizable gold flake. I will return to this spot to dig a bit deeper. Great day for her and I plus Seamus (Shamus) had a blast...pretty sure the current took him down river a few times. Also Hiking is over rated, if I did not cover it enough....enjoy. Also I do the gold happy dance!

I’ll be down there on the Unpqua, Late July, Early August. 2021 I need some flakes though cause I make jewelry keepsakes for grands and friends. Powder is pretty but not so much for jewelry. Maybe I’ll try some of the creeks in the area. Thanks again for this video. Very helpful.

You need an 18# pinch point pry bar from harbor freight so you can easily move the cobbles out of your way!
