The first time I hear that since 1983! Like discovering a lost treasor for me. Didn't remember it was a symphonic drum solo. Maybe one day we could hear it remastered in the way we heard it that night, I mean trought the 4 speakers towers in a circular patern because nowdays we have home theaters in 5.1

This is amazing. Remember, within a span of just a few years, fans could go and see this solo played with Rainbow, Michael Schenker, Whitesnake, Black Sabbath, ELP and others.

It was only 1812 overture with Rainbow, the Dambusters section added with Whitesnake and in 84 the Holst Mars solo. Sabbath was 1812 again.

quite possibly the best drummer soloist and you turn the lights off people want to see and hear drum solos
@andrewthorpe7882 Жыл бұрын
poor video and lighting technician i know its about drums no one ever sees the drummer but to do a solo in the dark i mean put a guitarist on stage and everybody wants to see him play so why not cozy a fantastic drummer if i was there i d want to see him play not hide in the shadows or in the poor lighting technician interpretation of a drum solo should look like he is as important as any guitarist
@Snakehead1964 Жыл бұрын
Unfortunately that's all what is there from that solo

@@andrewthorpe7882 I think that Cozy sometimes simply was the victim of his own visual effects ;-) You turn the light down to watch all that fire and explosions and smoke. Like here some monthes earlier in Osaka: kzbin.info/www/bejne/p5apq5tuitF9fqM
