Sadly it's so badly filmed it's a crime but that's very typical of Swedish TV back in the day.

It's the time when Mel Galley was having an accident, Jon Lord was about to join newly reformed Deep Purple. And Cozy the hammer Powell, may his soul rest in peace, was under criticism by stupid management. And of course, David was not in his best shape anymore due to rigid tour programs. But I still love this line up after several changes over the years, John Sykes crazy vibrato can't be missed upto this days. Stay blessed David and RIP Mr. Lord and Mel.

Saudades dessa época. O cara não aguenta cantar mais. ... Mas insiste e está realmente parecendo uma gralha a voz dele.

Unreal. This is Whitesnake as they should be. Not quite sure anyone told the audience what was going on though

TV studio audience. Half of them were just there to get a chance to be on swedish tv (we only had two tv channels back in those days, it was way before cable tv, parabolic antennas e t c).

Yes, that´s right, but on the other hand, he went back for the reunion with Deep Purple, in the spring of ´84. That was totally amazing!

I dig Sykes but hate the guitar solo he plays on this song. The guitar solo Mel Galley played on the album was perfect. I know Sykes is just being Sykes but he should have used some of the melodic content that Galley did on the record. It fits the song....Sykes shreddy barrage of notes just doesn't fit....Otherwise a great song and great performance. I prefer the Moody/Marsden version of the band...but Mel Galley was a great replacement for Bernie.

Yet again, Cozy Powell screwing up the tempo and destroying the song live... Pfff... What a "professional", eh!

Any band playing in Las Vegas , is playing to a crowd that lost all their money in the casino and want to make up the loss by watching a good band to get their money worth . You are playing for a crowd of 18000 and they are all loosers it must be hard to satisfy them and a bad feeling that they they lost all their money poor soles .
