Fantastic! So much fun! Question: When you do alternate drum covers, do you refer to the original drum track and add your style to make it your own or do you take the songs without drums and build your version from scratch?

Thanks a lot! 🤍 It's mostly a mixture of both. I play to the track without drums 1-3 times and take the best version played of these. I don't think before what I want to play, just start playing to the playback track, after I listened to it with original drums once or twice before starting to record. The basic original rhythms of course just inspire me to do my own ideas coming to my head over it. If sometimes, let's say, the first half of version 1 was cool and the second half of version 2 or 3 was better, then I try to make a cut and mix those two halfs in my recorded audio and video files. That's it. If I would have to make too much cuts between the versions, I'd rather play it one or two more times, again. That's easier, makes more fun and is more productive concerning my time and output. 😄🤘🤘❤
