Until hearing this, I had no idea that this version has no bass guitar. It's a Yamaha DX7 (or another Yamaha FM synth) doing all the work. Don Airey did keyboards for the album around 1985/86, so I'm assuming it's him doing the bass line here as well. I'm also guessing this was done after Neil Murray quit (again).

Nope. It's Bill Cuomo on synth bass. Keith Olsen confirmed this. Yes, Neil Murray track was wiped
