Bernie Marsden and Micky Moody were the heart of this band, and the later 'hair band' incarnation that David Coverdale came up with wasn't a pimple on that band's arse. Good video very helpful thanks. I think I have a small correction on one chord. The end of the verse where he sings "And I'm gonna hold on for the rest of my days". Instead of G D Em, that D is actually the same chord Angus Young uses in AC/DC's "Highway To Hell". 6th string = 2nd fret. 5th & 4th strings = open. 3rd string = 2nd fret. When you listen to the original, it's a walk-down. The bass is doing G (and I'm gonna) Gb (hold on for the) E (rest of my days).
