Chaos math in real-time with vanilla Minecraft's scoreboard system. I think it's cool. So I made a chaos math machine that anyone can download and use.

The amount of control we have of particles (and now blocks too) is always something that i thought was underused. Awesome demo of differentials (and loved the airplane comparison).

Amazing. My knowledge of math doesn't go deep enough to understand this, but I thoroughly enjoyed this. Also, draping your mic arm around your neck is an inspired choice lol

This is brilliant fun, and I'm excited to play around with the map. I am generally unenthused when a favorite small creator blows up, but you explain things so well, and make them so accessible and fun to engage with, that I hope you do. Without sacrificing your rigor and curiosity or dumbing yourself down, maybe a video which makes use of a mathematics concept most people are already aware and have some understanding of would do the trick. Best of luck.

This is awesome! As someone who hasn't learned how to deal with differential equations yet, I'm a little surprised that stuff like this can be translated into Minecraft's somewhat limited command system relatively well. I might download the map just to take a look at what is going on inside those command blocks.

I love all the different irl video setups in this! I wouldn't be surprised if some of the steps of the code-to-minecraft conversions could be streamlined even further, have you looked into using datapacks? these are of course very cool feats regardless :)
@whitestonejazz
@whitestonejazz 9 ай бұрын
Thanks! I'm really enjoying the more in-person presentation style. The difficulty with datapacks is that they're much harder to debug. By having a chain of real command blocks, rather than a datapack function, it's easier to check the commands one-by-one if there's a problem and find out exactly what's going on. I used datapack functions for the quaternion project a few months back. And all in all, I found that the extra ease of development offered by datapacks, wasn't worth the extra difficulty of debugging.

Hey! I'm sorry for commenting offtopic, I just thought it's more likely for you to see this comment under this vid than under the 7-month-ago-vid. So I just found your channel yesterday and I watched your vid about encoding items and I'm really impressed with how good those vid are. I want to make a translation of that videos to my language to share it with new community, because we don't have as many vid about redstone and math's in Minecraft as English community does. So I'm here to ask your permission to upload a translation of your video to my channel. Of course I'll say that it's not my vid and drop a link to your channel. I also can give you my email or some other contact so you can write at any time if you want me to change something in my vid or delete it
