What is the best time to come to Whitewater??? Can I fly in or I have to drive??? VLAD, Calgary

Castlegar 1 hr. is the closest runway. Kelowna 3.5 hrs. is also a possibility. If you drive from Calgary 6.75 hrs. you're looking at a pretty gross drive, but you can make a trip of it because you go through Banff and several other ski towns. If you can find flights to Lethbridge, you might have a more direct drive, but again, Fernie is right on the route that way, and it's also sick. It's def worth visiting tho.

@@cmoudyrybicka No prob. Going to Nelson for Christmas. Got the 5 day early bird pass this year. Sorry, best time to ski Nelson, prob Jan Feb Mar. Snow gets deep pretty much right off the hop, and we got blasted early this year. Looking forward to full time ski bumming this winter. Git weekday passes for the RCR resorts on deck too. Moved to AB this summer, and we're only 40 mins from Fernie, now. So jacked.
