Whitewater Rafting on the Selway River, Idaho.

Whitewater rafting trip on the Selway river in Idaho. July 15-20, 2018. 9 boats, 15 people. The first time I've won a lottery permit & I won a private river permit for the Selway!!! I got to bring 14 of my best river buds along for this trip of a lifetime. It was so incredibly beautiful, I can't wait to get back.

Did a self contained white water kayak trip around 1990. Put on the day before permits were required. The river was a whole lot higher when we went down it. Don't remember what the gauge was at the time. We did pull out a flipped raft just above "Little Niagara Falls" on the "wrong" side of the river. One of my buddies after we got it flipped right side up, took it over the Left Side of the Falls. The owner of the raft ran his ass off down the trail on the East side and was he happy to get it back. We got some free beers out of it.
