Proud owner and endorser of Whitfill Guitars... first one I ever saw was one that Kenny Vaughn owned once, a featherweight tele with P-90s and I totally fell in love, searched Charles out and started talking to him about building me one...then at NAMM this summer in Nashville he delivered my own P90 tele in mid-50s white, swamp ash body, killer maple neck and two of the sweetest pickups ever. Contact me anytime for more raves on these instruments. Next up is a Custom with F-holes and humbuckers. Highly recommended!

After seeing this video I contacted Charles and ordered a custom relic'ed Strat. Nice build and sound great. Only complaint would be waiting 5 or 6 months for the build.

Wow those do sound really great. Warm yet tight but not brittle at all. I really like the way those humbuckers sounded and I'm a single coil guy

I'm not putting down anyone necessarily.... but when it comes to making guitars there are craftsman who do custom jobs and there are guys who specialize in finishes and build parts guitars. Since we do alot of shows, I get tons of people that want me to play their guitars at the shows. Most of them are decent guitars. I made this Whitfill video because it's an AMAZING guitar.

Very nice guitars & great sounding demo. I have a questions about that Jet City Amp in the background... do you guys ever use it?... is it in any of your videos? I always see it there. I have the same amp & I'd love to see what you guys get out of it! Thanks for always putting up great informative videos!

Redd Knows Picker - I don't use it much other than while designing circuits. When I'm designing them (on a breadboard) I plug the circuit into all kinds of different amps to see how each amp interacts with the circuit. It doesn't have a very good clean channel (IMO) so we don't use it for videos, but it has a great distortion channel.

RS Guitarworks makes INCREDIBLE teles as well and if you're looking for a 100% hand built les paul that will OWN ANY GIBSON PERIOD, look into cvguitarsDOTcom, Larry Corsa builds a MEAN les paul

Leo Fender was a parts guitar guy. The whole idea of the Telecaster was to manufacture an inexpensive guitar. I will say these Tele's sound awesome but the mojo of Tele is that it is a plank with strings borrowing the pickup from a lap steel... No?
@Casey_J9611 жыл бұрын
Seriously though they look and sound great. Probably too expensive for me though haha

Does it really matter though, what machine makes a guitar neck, or which drill drills the holes for the pickguard? Nahhhhh, so why put down other builders to try and make a product look good? I think that's a sad way to do business.
