Awesome video? Do you need to attach anything to the camera to help it sink or stop if from spinning?

Yes the camera is attached to a small bait cage and weight to help it sink in the current, and I learned from @crabecam that you can use the bait cage as a makeshift sail to reduce spinning and help set up the camera so its facing down current.

From memory theres a small bait cage behind the camera and I had a mix of pilchards and some squid tentacles in it!

Yes, I think thats definitely a possibility, but KGW have the advantage of a faster growth rates and catch limits have helped to slow their decline.
